Courtney Love Loses Legal Control Of Frances Bean!
Shocker!
Courtney Love has lost legal control of her daughter Frances Bean Cobain. The legal guardians appointed to care for Frances Bean are Kurt Cobain's mother Wendy O'Connor and his sister Kimberly Dawn Cobain.
The guardianship was set on Friday due to a "long period of unstable conduct" and Courtney Love did not appear in court.
As sad it sounds, we have a feeling Frances might be used to this kind of behavior from her mother by now.

My God, what did Frances do to deserve such parents? A father who was a troubled junkie and who killed himself at age 27, a mother who's out of her fucking mind and can't seem to stay out of trouble… It's a miracle Frances hasn't gone completely nuts. She's better off with Wendy and Kimberly.

You know that does not mean she is an awful mother or she did anything wrong. My daughter who is actually only 3 days older than hers lives with my parents and they have guardienship of her. All it means is that they have the legal authority to make decisions reguarding her health like at the doctors or school and thing like that. If Frances is not living with her mom then who she is living with on a permanant basis needs to have that authority.
This is very good for Frances. Court is BPD, and I am sure that lil Bean is a victim of abuse/neglect.
Courtney looks like she's on drugs 24/7. It's a wonder they didn't do this sooner.

Courtney Love strikes me as someone who is so ego-driven that she thinks "insanity" makes her seem brilliant and interesting, and therefore selfishly revels in her own crazy behavior despite how it effects those around her. Grow up.
I often wonder if Kurt would have cleaned up his act, etc. if he were still here and seeing what a pretty young lady Frances has become. I think he would be proud…I don't, however, think he'd still be with Courtney…

Poor Frances, she looks like she has so much potential to do anything she wants in the world and I can only hope this will help her go in the right direction. Because the saddest part is no child ever gets used to being neglected by their parents. Your in my prayers Frances..

I guess this isn't THAT shocking since she lived with her grandma Cobain for most of the time ’till she was 10 anyway and her mother has said publicly that she has no money left to "feed her daughter". Plus, having to be the parent in a relationship when you're 16 must really suck!!
She has had no proper father or mother figure in her life… and yet she seems to be extremely mature and has a good head on her shoulders. Lindsay's parents aren't even half as bad as Courtney Love and look how she's turned out.
I think she has amazing potential. Troubled as he was, Kurt Cobain is most probably the greatest musician of the past 25 years. Nirvana made a greater impact in 3 years than most bands do in a lifetime.
