Grizz Needs A Kidney!
30 Rock regular Grizzwald "Grizz" Chapman is in a need of a kidney transplant as he is suffering from severe hypertension.
The actor at 6'11" and 378 pounds requires dialysis treatment 3 times a week for his condition that has left him with only 5 percent function of his kidneys!
He's on the waiting list for a kidney, but Grizz must lose more than 75 pounds to qualify for the surgery. The wait list is currently at least 5 years long! He says:
“A lot of this stuff is new to me. Opening up is something I have to learn how to do if I’m going to be in this business. At first I didn’t want to do it, but I felt that it would be a good situation for me to enlighten people to what’s going on.”
His fellow cast mate Kevin Brown, who also plays a member of Tracy Morgan's character's entourage, is planning to lose weight along with his buddy to help him along saying, "He's getting that transplant! I'll lose the weight with him. For every 10 pounds he loses, I'll lose one pound. That's a deal!"

"Grizz" needs to get on the bottom of the waiting list for a new kidney. Maybe he could lose some weight in the meantime. Show him how it's done, Perez!
This is what the SAD (standard American diet) does to people. It kills them slowly. I hope he gets better! Nobody taught him how to eat for health…Go vegan, go raw, but for God's sake, stay away from meat, dairy, processed foods and trans fats!

Tuesday night I was on verge of dialysis and it scared the shit out of me. Loose weight and get your health together.
Really unless you are against it for religious or other reasons, we should all 1) check off the organ donor section on our licenses and as this does not guarantee your organs will be donated, (2) you must let your family know of your wishes and ask that they respect them when the time comes.
The number of people dying waiting for organ transplantation each year is staggering.
