Taylor Lautner hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend and the show got the best numbers of the season so far, beating out the show earlier this year that was hosted by girlfriend Taylor Swift!

You go, TayTay!

We think he's going to be one to watch next year in a BIG way!

Would it have to do, at all, with the fact that Taylor Lautner is an actual ACTOR who's done comedic work in the past (yes, I count "Cheaper by the Dozen 2" as comedic work), as opposed to Mrs Future Ex-VinceNotVance Taylor Swift who's…not an actress?

Or maybe it's hype. It's probably hype, huh?

Well of course he got bigger ratings, New Moon probably helped a lot. But you just watch him, long after the whole Twilight craze has gone, no one will remember R-Patz, it's gonna be all about Taylor.

Taylor was so good on SNL. I was so proud of him. I really love the skit were he play a girl who was on Team Edward and he was having a debate with a girl that was Team Jacob. Too Funny… He really did an awesome job.

Interesting thing I learned, SNL is the highest rated show of all network programming including prime time on any given Saturday night. Then consider that the networks don't even try anymore and pretty much just show repeats. I remember being a kid and watching such quality Sat. night programming as The Love Boat and Fantasy Island.

I really hate to say this being too old to be a "twi-hard" (books amazing movies a joke) but he was HILLLLLLLARIOUS!!!! I didn't watch her ep so I can't compare but it was worth watching just for the Team Jacob/Team Edward high school debate skit (where he was dressed as a gir)l & even backhandedly said that the "guy that played Jacob should get an Oscar" (because he worked so hard for the abs) he was very very funny.
