Nike Condones Repeated Adultery!

While many of his other sponsors have abandoned the leaky athlete's disease ridden ship, Nike is standing by their man, Tiger Woods.
Nike chairman and co-founder Phil Knight is calling Tiger's adulterous exploits only "minor blips" on his career and isn't too concerned with them. He insists that when the time comes to look back at Tiger's accomplishments, no one will really remember all of his shenanigans.
Oh, we surely beg to differ, as would his wife, the dozen or more whores he slept with, and every other sponsor he had.

Ah, but his personal life doesn't actually mean anything when looking at his game. It's not like people are going to go, "Oh well he would have been the greatest golfer but he slept with these girls…" No. If he's considered the best, he'll be the best. When tiger took 100m per year in endorsement money did he not expect to give up some privacy? He plastered his image for money. Not just as a golfer but as a class act. That image is shattered. I will not purchase Nike because they do not protect their investors and I don't like the image they are portraying. Just a blip? I seriously doubt that. A sponsor's choice to stick with an athlete is theirs to make. They may continue to reap rewards or suffer loss of revenue. The point is it is their choice and they appear to continue to recognize that despite his personal failings, Tiger's place in sports history is and will always be secure.
They are wrong when they say his adultery is more than a minor blip and will never be forgotten, up to and including mention in his eventual obituary.
bottom line is that tiger woods is famous for being the worlds best golfer an amazing athlete..not for being a husband figure. people look up to his incredible abilities at the golfing sport..not to his abilities to keep a wife..yeah its shitty of him for the way he handled being married..but has nothing to do with the fact that he is still a spectacular golf player..what is nike associated with? athletes. amazing athletes. not married figures? thankyou.
