RiRi Wants To Do Glastonbury
Looks like Rihanna has her eyes set on performing at the British rock festival Glastonbury.
And she's making sure the folks over at the festival know!
Princess RiRi recently said: "Glastonbury is a great festival and a great platform for me to be a part of. I would love to be there. Even if I'm not headlining I would love to be there."
We're not too sure how well she'd fit in with U2, who's already been confirmed as a headliner and other rumored performs like The Rolling Stones and Coldplay.
Maybe she's hoping Jay-Z's highly criticized and controversial addition to the line up back in 2008 could open some doors?

Glastonbury in the recent years has been trying to integrate more different music genres from Pop, Lily Allen, to Urban, Jay z. And i applaud cause MUSIC IS NOT JUST ROCK, FOR REAL MUSIC FANS IT'S EVERYTHING
It's not not the fact she is POP, the only problem i have with Rihanna it's the fact that she is just she is BAD.
Can't sing, dance, does not have stage presence and her music is not that GOOD.She has some good singles but not worthy enough to go watch her live

Re: caroaber – dont you understand that glasto is an alternative rock festival? hes jay z not hendrix and plenty of black brits have played glasto (i remember vv brown and dizzee rascal last year, though neither are rock vv now and dizzee at the begging of his carrer wasnt 'mainstream' so they get in) with no winging or fuss. it isnt v or leeds or t4, its an alternative show and the bottom line is that rihanna is seen as too pop and mainstream despite her most recent makeover. the reason there was all that stuff with jay z was because he was HEADLINING at a rock festival, they have alternative rap at glastonbury but jay z is american (and we like to support homegrown talent) and he isn't alternative. maybe you should actually go round the uk festivals before giving your opinions on them
Re: caroaber – That's not the case… The were plenty of US bands at this years Glasto… Bruce Springsteen was the headliner this year at Glasto and there were plenty of US bands there… Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Black Eyed Peas, The Virgins.
