All my generation has is a bunch of Disney kids, and others. So I'm kind of glad that lady gaga is around. Compared to them, she looks pretty damn amazing. But when you compare her to the legends that you've seen, all you think is 'it's all been done before' You have to get that we've never really seen something like her before, even though you have. You get what I'm trying to say? :/

Not since Tori Amos or Fiona Apple (and untold numbers of blues ladies, but yall wouldnt know them) has a female musical artist brought actual tears to my eyes. I'm almost sorry that Lady Gaga is so famous so that I can't point her out as an obscure delicious reference. On the same token, hellz to the yes for her! I am really excited to see the art geek get ahead. In Madonna's time, she used women's sexual liberation to get ahead, and it worked for her, and it was awesome for women everywhere. It is socially acceptable now for a woman to be sexually liberated. Lady Gaga seems to play off that, and I hope, play off the dreams of the cast-offs, the art geeks, the talents hidden behind the veils of social ineptitude.
