Reese & Jake Are Done (For Good This Time)
Even though their reps have insisted the two are still very much in lurve, Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have in fact called it quits.
According to a soure close to the couple the decision to split was mutual, saying:
"They needed time to figure it out and they were on different coasts. When they were finally together, they talked it out and decided they're not going to be together anymore."
The source wants everyone to know that there were "no other people involved" and the relationship "just fizzled. But they also wanted to be careful and private about it because of Reese's kids."
If only other couples could have done the same thing!

Don't miss the point that Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger were such fantastic and convincing actors in Brokeback Mountain.
In fact, both were so good with their roles that you can't even separate their characters from their real lives.
