During the after-party at M2 in Chelsea, the gals were spotted having a quiet heart-to-heart. A source says, "When the cameras were on Kate she was all smiles. But privately you could tell she has had her heart broken."
Kate also flew in her mother Goldie Hawn for the premiere to engage in a bit of booze therapy sipping on dirty martinis together and hanging out all night.
Another source said of Kate, "It was her big premiere, and she was upset Alex wasn't there to support her."

This story is completely untrue. I was there and Madonna left Lourdes home after the premiere and sat in one corner with Jesus, while Kate was blocked in by her body guard in the complete opposite side. Kate arrived after Madonna was already sitting at her table and then after half an hour Madonna and Jesus left out the back door there was no interaction between the two and Kate only talked to one person the entire evening who monopolized her time so that way she wouldn't have to interact with anyone, especially to talk about her recent break up.
