Michelle Duggar, baby machine for TLC, is reporting that her latest bundle of joy, lucky #19 is "doing as well as can be expected." The little one is still in the hospital in Little Rock after being prematurely birthed.
Michelle also said:
"We feel so blessed that God has given us to her and are cherishing every moment with her."
We're sure.
Pretty soon, she'll be healthy and strong and home with her ridiculous amount of siblings.

What is the matter with you? There is nothing about the article that says the baby is "better". A baby born at 26 weeks has a very low chance for survival - just because she's still alive does not mean she's better.

Like you I hope everything turns out for the best and perhaps the parents take this as a sign for their god that it is time to leave the births to the next generation.

I watch the show as well and have from the start. I will tell you this…All the bullshit smack talk they get about there lives is that Bull shit!!! They have there own companies they do not go all over the place to all these exotic islands and they use hand-me-downs just like any other family out there. As for the older ones HELPing…again same as anyother family out there.

Perez- you are such an idiot. A baby born at 24 weeks isn't 'better" after only a few weeks in the NICU. Sadly, this baby will have months ahead of her in the hospital and only God knows her long term prognosis.
I can only pray that she doesn't have to deal with any long term disabilities such as CP, deafness, blindness ect. But, I know her parents and siblings faith will help them through this.

You know what's sad about this whole situation? The older girls don't have a chance at anything other than being a wife and mother. Home schooled, taking care of their siblings, cleaning, cooking, laundry…what if one wanted to be a Dr and study at Stanford or another wanted to be a school teacher. I guess same applies to the boys in a way. What if they wanted to go away to college. I wonder, is that an option when they have been somewhat secluded?
19 kids is insane… but I those kids of theirs are tough. Being born that early and already improving is quite amazing.

I became a grandmother for the first time yesterday, and today, in our local paper was a story about a local 9 month pregnant woman, whom, along with her unborn child were killed in a tragic accident yesterday. Her husband is still in critical condition. You can bet this man wishes he had the chance to see his child with the smallest glimmer of life in her than laying on a cold slab in the morgue. I'm sure that the Duggars are grateful for every moment they have with their precious child-regardless of what number in the line up she is. Their love is unconditional for each of their children (and grand child)..and to be honest, I think more people should set that kind of example.

Yes, this generation of Duggars supports their own kids via their television program, their tax-free status as a church, and some investments and work that the husband may have done. However, if each child in the next generation thinks it is a good idea to have 20 of their own children, I doubt anyone will want to watch a show to help support this. Who will be supporting these future generations?

I am the mother of a child born as 25 weeks gestation weighing 1lb 15oz. I visit your site for fun and to escape for a few minutes a day, not for information of real value, but today you took that away. Your title is so misleading and incorrect that it infuriates me. This child will most likely be in the hospital for at least 3 more months and if she survives being born that early there is an 80% chance of having a major mental or physical disability. You call that "better"?? Every day with a micropreemie is a roller coaster, with the reality being that with a child born that early you may not get to bring them home.
A premature birth can happen if you have 1 child or 30 children. It is nothing to report on lightly. Some people actually come to your site for news, have a little journalistic integrity. If this were a major celebrity you would be reporting in such a different light. At the very least maybe raise awareness and have a link to the March of Dimes. Stick to gossiping about the celebrity not their children, especially not ones that are seriously ill.
