Lady Gaga was named MTV New's Woman of the Year, beating out the likes of Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, and Beyonce! As they put it:

"There's no one who challenged, provoked, entertained and, well, titillated us over the past 12 months quite like she has."

      Thank you:)!!! I'm not a Lady Gaga fan but will give credit where it is due. She writes her music, is an awesomely amazing beyond talented performer(take in a breath) and extremely versatile. She can claim who she is, keeps everyone guessing and natural at the same time. The rest are left in the dust and everyone knows it. Britney is not offering different, Beyonce only can offer her body-no thank you, yuck, it's not even real, etc. Lady G is the True Artist. May she continue without Perez killing her with overexposure. I'm not a fan but can enjoy her in all her artistry. There are not many that this can be said Truthfully about.

      Congratulations Lady Gaga. In my opinion, she is indisputably "The Woman of the Year". She is truly unique and I appreciate how she incorporates theater into her performances. Too often we worship singers/songwriters/musicians who are a dime a dozen and are technically not any of those adjectives. I get frustrated when a song that has been mechanically altered, (a la Britney: 3; Lil' Wayne: Lollipop, etc., etc.), is a number one hit. Lady Gaga CAN sing and she does it very well. Sometimes I think that people who "can't stand her" are just intolerant and not quite ready to think outside the box a little. I am currently addicted to "Speechless" and still wish Gaga was my girlfriend. I'm not easily starstruck, as I would be just as excited to meet Sigmund Freud as I would be to meet your average, run of the mill celebrity. BUT, if I could meet Gaga, OMG bitches! My beautiful Australian Shepherd's name is "Lady" and I have started calling her Lady Gaga. Happy Holidays to all!
