The studio that once thought of canning Taylor Lautner is now pouring money to keep him! Summit Entertainment has announced plans to attach TayTay into a new action flick called Cancun.

Taylor will play an awkward college student who travels with a girl to Cancun on spring break, only to watch his girl and her friends be taken hostage by a drug cartel. He and his abs are forced to save them.

Seksi! And no vamps to compete with!

That sounds like a really stupid movie. Summit doesn't do big budget films… and hasn't done a particularly good movie yet. I doubt they could make this movie out turn out worth anything. I'm sure they are just planning on Tay's name to make the film successful.

I think for 17 he has a lot of talent, and it least it will give him an opportunity to break into the action side of Hollywood, as opposed to just the lovemaking shite like that ugly co-star he usually works with – talking of which will that co-star ever break out of that mould? Nah don’t think so he has no talent, other than showing an unshaven hobo face.

its sounds dumb but i'm sure it'll do fairly well because of taylor & millions of girls fawning over him. i'll pass. although i think is extremely hot, i can wait for the dvd release. plus i want to see how his acting fares he did well on snl so we'll see how this goes.
