Reality Show About Twilight's Hometown!
Attention residents of Forks, Washington!
Hollywood wants to make y'all into stars!
The hometown of Twilight has already been featured in a new documentary titled Twilight in Forks (to be included in the DVD release of New Moon), but now the town will be the subject of a new reality show!
The producers have sent out a casting call asking for "TV friendly" and "outgoing" permanent residents of Forks to audition for the show, although no word has been given on who or what the show is for.

THAT'S SO WEIRD! I've been to Fork a thousand times, all my mom's sisters and brothers live in Port Angeles and that's where she was raised too. WEIRD.
how is forks a city? i just looked it up and its population is 3000 yet its still a city. thats weird. where i live is just a 'locality' within manchester but it still has 16,000 people!

Having been born and raised in Forks, WA (left 4 years ago, before HUGE Twilight phenom) this idea for a reality program is absolutely crazy.
Behind this the few new facades of fleeting Twilight stores on main street, there remains an overwhelmingly economically depressed town with few outlets and activities for young people, little to no night life, a small isolated population and limited resources Forks is a HORRIBLE place to host a show. I find it particularly odd also since NONE of the movies were filmed in Forks, and Stephanie Meyer wrote Twilight before even visiting the town!
Good luck finding a suitable "tv personality" amongst all the meth addicts, racist tweakers, salal pickers and sketchballs that make up this depressing, politically corrupt, culture free town.

Re: CicatrixManet – The last time I was in Forks, I stopped at a cafe for a cup of joe and a piece of pie. Near the bathroom, there was a stuffed spotted owl on display, with a big sign under it that read, "If you want to save the forest, then go and wipe your ass with a spotted owl."

Are you serious? There would be so many character's whose lives are parallel to the character's in the movie and book series. I would absolutely love to watch character's who are similar to my favorite R.Patz and K.Stew in real life. I am at a slumber party right now with all the girls in my 9th grade class and we were all freaking out when we read this PLEASE MAKE THIS A SHOW ASAP!!!!

This sounds fantastic!! my friend mailed me a flyer saying that Red Varden Studios is casting on tuesday and wednesday, and i got sooo jealous!! screw all you Twilight haters- just don't watch the show if you won't even read the books! this show is for true Twilight lovers, and there are pleanty of us to make this show a fantastic hit. can't wait for it to happen!!

I live in Aberdeen, about a three hour drive from Forks. Last time I was through there, I had to stop in the middle of town and let a deer cross the road. Hope they can milk the celebrity for all it's worth. They've really been screwed over in recent years by the greeners.
I really do not think this will even air. I am 21 years old and have lived in Forks all my life and I do not understand at all what they think they are going to do a reality show on. There is not enough excitement here and not a thing to do. They probably wont even get enough interesting people to have a cast. Its a pretty dumb idea if you ask me!

Okay, I am born and raised in Washington State, so I think that qualifies me to comment on this post.
First of all, Forks is a logging town not a Hollywood set, making the prospect of a reality show coming to Forks is just stOOpid. If you have ever been to Forks, you know that it rains ALOT and there is really not much going on there in terms of "entertainment" which is something the Twilight movies do not depict. So, all you Twi-hards and idiots who travel to Forks in search of "vampires" will be sorely disappointed by any "reality" show that portrays the everyday humdrum life of the locals.
I AM from the olympic peninsula and this sounds like trouble to me…. high schoolers drinking in the woods? not that exciting if you ask me but WHATEVER!!
I had a couple of friends and a cat who went around the Olympia Peninsula in a small RV and the rear axle broke on the side of the road in Forks. Later they found out that it would take 8 days to get that part installed there and were nearly broke after they paid for it and was doing his best to amuse himself on a $5 a day budget til they could get out of there. They got bored after the first day but later when word got out of the situation strangers came daily with food, cat toys and use of their washing machines and any would talk for hours about everything. They finally got the RV fixed and left there wish a great experience about the place and urge anyone who is around the area to go drop in and see the local color. I hope Twilight hasn’t changed that. I think this series can’t be any worse than that snooze fest chick porn called Twilight.

Ok, first of all may I just say that it's rude for people to be saying mean things about Forks or the people that live there. There are some great people there. Holy Shit! Let me just start out by saying I'm from Forks, born and raised, blah blah blah. Still live here. I can't stand the thought of this reality TV show. There is nothing here for anyone to film. Yes Twilight did wonders for our community, but there is nothing. I mean what do they think they are going to see? Do they want to watch everyone struggle with life out here? No work, one stop light, one store where everything is sold? Most of the people out here are struggling single mothers or immigrants from Mexico trying to live a life. And the ones who went to college and have a degree work at the hospital or the store. I work at the hospital, I'm lucky. I went to college, and I work at the hospital. WOOOO! Or maybe you freaks want to watch our high schooler's get drunk and party with 30-year-old men and get into car accidents and die? Happens every year, and our town is so small, that we know them, their moms, grandparents, and their dogs name. Its not anything anyone would want to watch seriously! The adults that live out here are here because its cheap to live here or we really do enjoy the outdoors, small town life, or because this is home and our families were or are still here.

Its a dumb idea because there is nothing here…nothing to film. There is nothing interesting enough what-so-ever. Some people might think its a cool idea but there is no way this will even get on tv…waaaay too boring!

I don't get how people could think this show will suck. Twilight is an International PHENOMENON! Everything Twilight touches turns to GOLD and this show will too. I can't wait to see what town inspired the series and I heard that there really is a girl that works at Forks Outfitters that looks just like Bella!! People even take pics with her & stuff! Sooo awesome. CAN'T WAIT!!!
