   she was indeed a little piece of sunshine. i thought they were the cutest couple when they dated. just married was one of my favorite movies of hers. but jeez ashton what's with the immature teenager-esque online language you use in your tweets?    I can say 10 years ago I was involved in drugs. I lost a friend to a horrible accident. I got involved in drugs. No one really knows. I can say I almost OD a couple of times. For some reason you want to take a shower or bath, and I did both times. I swear I almost died. The only thing that stopped me was I made myself throw up.I would have been dead. I still remember almost dying. So I have NO doubt she knew she was ODing. Probabaly her and her husband did drugs the entire night. Just watch. I feel for her family. It's horrible. God rest her soul.

    Tweeting your condolences is an insincere way to show any sort of sympathy for the situation. Ashton is known to be a complete douche bag. There was a blind gossip item out there that was about an actress who had an eating disorder that was likely started b/c her ex-bf (also an actor) told her she was fat compared to other actresses; then he dumped her. It was assumed that it was Brittany Murphy (which was later revealed to be the answer). Ashton is probably the ex that told her she was a fatty. Given what January Jones has said about what a d-bag Ashton was when they were together… would it surprise anyone that he was like this to Brittany? What an @$$.

    I loved his message…she was a 'little piece of sunshine.' It made me so sad, reading that…Brittany always had a child-like quality to her…but she looked so pained in recent photos…often the most talented stars hide behind a facade, while no one sees the pain in their eyes. She was one of my favorite stars, far more talented than given credit for…and those of you with the catty 'druggie' remarks ought to remember, people who live in glass houses ought to shut the f*ck up.
