Awful! Brittany Murphy's Mother Discovered Her Unconscious Body!
How horrific!!!
Reports are saying Brittany Murphy's own mother discovered Murphy completely unconscious in the shower on Sunday morning!
No mother should ever find their child this way!!!!
The paramedics declared Murphy had gone into full cardiac arrest upon their arrival and immediately administered CPR at the scene and continued to try and revive Brittany in the ambulance.
As we reported earlier, the 32-year-old actress was announced dead on arrival when she arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles County Coroner's office is expected to take Murphy's body into custody later today and begin the autopsy and investigation of her death.
Update: Neighbors of the late actress say that Brittany "looked dead" when paramedics moved Murphy from her West Hollywood home to the ambulance on a stretcher, all while performing CPR.
Update: Brittany's family has released the following statement to the press: "In this time of sadness, the family thanks you for your love and support. It is their wish that you respect their privacy."

Cardiac arrythmia related to drugs that keep you thin. Or cardiac arrythmia due to being thin and electrolyte imbalances that occur as a result.
I could be totally wrong and if so I am sorry. But body image pressures on women are killing at a startling rate.

She was such a wonderful actress. I really think she died from being anorexic. The last picture i saw of her, she was rail thin. Could have been drugs, and it could have been an eating disorder. It is sad how this story is playing out like Karen Carpenter's. I believe Karen's mother found her dead in her walk-in closet. How awful for Brittany's mother. My guess is Brittany passed away from heart failure due to complications from anorexia, as she appeared to have an eating disorder, if drugs weren't involved. Both Brittany and Karen were 32 years old when they passed on.

Such a tragedy for such a fine actress. I still cry when I watch the end of "Uptown Girls" and see Dakota Fanning dancing with "Molly's" guitars. I hope there was no foul play. I can't understand why her hubby would oppose an autopsy. Her family needs closure. I feel sad. I truly liked her and enjoyed all her films.

Judgging from her appearance she probably suffered from Anorexia Nervosa. The heart attack would explain it, because Karen Carpenter of The Carpenters died the same exact way back in the day. My mother told me this and I looked it up. Cardiac arrest from complications of Anorexia Nervosa. These women basically starve themselves until there are no nutrients, no fat, no nothing. They litterally eat themselves alive! I think Karen Carpenter was taking one multivitamin a day. This is so sad! She seemed like a really sweet person. A bit skittish and insecure, but nice. Kinda like Katherine Heigl. I wish her family the best in dealing with this. And if there are drugs involved…I hope people don't make a shitfest outta of it! All of the sudden everyone in Hollywood will come forward claiming to be her "best friend" to get some extra publicity.
