Cancelled! Lil' Wayne Leaves Texas Fans Disappointed
Lil' Wayne penchant for pot left thousands of fans high and dry on Friday night!
The rapper was scheduled to perform at the Laredo Entertainment Center in Laredo, TX on Friday, but after Wayne's run-in with the U.S. Border Patrol on the way to the show, his performance was cancelled!!
But what makes it even worse is the promoters weren't even contacted by Lil' Wayne's reps about the cancellation!!
The Laredo Entertainment Center was forced to cancel the show after they waited and waited and finally realized Wayne was a no-show!
Reps for the venue described the crowd as "not very happy" once they realized the hip-hop star wouldn't be showing up, but that they fully expect Lil' Wayne to schedule a make-up show in the near future.

I read this story yesterday and it had me laughing my ass off, since I'm from Laredo and know that the area is surrounded by checkpoints. You would think that Lil' Wayne's management would've done their research before passing through one with weed… it's not like he wouldn't have been able to find some down there. Pendejos!

That's no way to run a business. Fame is fleeting, so respect it if you are gifted enough to have it land on you; it all goes away quickly enough without him chasing it out the door with a broomstick.
So he made up for it. Sort of. Who is running his freaking show, anyway? Easy enough to call a venue. The radio stations could have let the fans know not to show up (if they did) and saved them the inconvenience. Badly done.
what a retard…he did the same thing in vancouver b.c…we were all just heading out to go to the concert and the show got cancelled…like have a little bit of consideration for your fans.
