Love them or hate them, America is head over heels for the self-proclaimed guidos and guidettes of Jersey Shore!

Eyyyyy!

The numbers for MTV's runaway hit continue to grow - only 1.375 million viewers tuned in the first week, while 2.1 million people caught the second week's episode.

But this week 2.481 million viewers caught the twenty-somethings gettin' wasted and makin' out at the Shore!

      I'm from the jersey shore, and everyone down here was hating on this show so bad. Now everyone is hooked on it..including myself. The guys having their shirts off all the time helps though lol.

      I love this show! I'm ItalianCanadian and love watching anything 'Italian' on TV doesn't matter what it is! It's fun to see how we're the same but different. And yeah, it doesn't reflect too well on Italian-Americans but it's all in good fun and I'm sure many Italians recognize themselves or someone else in this. What I'd REALLY like to see is Italians, not necessarily an ALL guido/guidette, cast) from all over the US and even Canada put together (Montreal and Ontario have loads (ie. Saint Leonard, RDP, and Woodbridge to name a few). However, I'm sure that'd be even more scandalous than what it already is :) BUT IT WOULD BE SO COOL

      OBSESSED! Though I kinda wish they would have replaced Angelina so that the house is more dynamic.

      I have to admit, I love the show. I don't see what the big deal is. I see a group that likes to have a good time and party while on vacation. They're not bad people! Some of the guys are douches when it comes to girls, but when you're in your twenties, you're not looking for a real relationship. I don't see the cast doing drugs, they take their job seriously, and they even sit down to eat 'family style'. I also have to admit, I am starting to think PaulyD and Vinny are HOT- even The Situation is growing on me. As for the girls, you gotta love Snooks. JWoww and Pauly D just need to hook up already. Can't wait for next week! I'm hooked and I have to say I like these people better than any of the Real World/Road Rules cast. Great job, MTV!

      You really have to be Italian to understand the way they act. It's just a reality show that people are taking way too seriously. It's a bunch of guys and girls partying, hooking up, acting crazy and having fun. Isnt that what people in their 20's do?
