The numbers for MTV's runaway hit continue to grow - only 1.375 million viewers tuned in the first week, while 2.1 million people caught the second week's episode.
But this week 2.481 million viewers caught the twenty-somethings gettin' wasted and makin' out at the Shore!

It's a lot of fun, and sometimes touching. On the first day, The Situation made dinner, and before eating, they sat quietly while Vinny said grace. (Well, he got silly and screwed it up.) Despite not wanting a girlfriend out of the experience, Ronnie quickly became connected to Sammi. Although he looks like a tough guy, he wears his heart on his sleeve. I really look forward to the show, and I want them to get what they want from the summer, which is to get laid; to get closer to each other, and maybe to find love.

The show is so awful it's funny. They are all morons. The women look like they're all 45 years old and look beat up as hell.
These losers are NOT from NJ!!! They are mostly from various towns in NY and Staten Island. These kids come down to our shore and pollute it every summer….they are drunken and drugged up messes!! They give our beautiful shore communities a bad name. Educated people do not act this way in NJ, family orientated people do not act this way in NJ, most tax payers in NJ do not act this way!!! It is a shame that this show is painting NJ in a very negative and shallow way. Contrary to popular belief, most citizens in this state do not act like this or like the Sopranos! Sure, there is some corruption in politics, but name a state who hasnt got that. Please…get this crap off the air!!!

Mafia was tite, but I have never wanted an orange Italian until I saw this. Or an orange Snooki. Seriously though, The girls w/the exception of that plain bitch that got fired, are stunning and the men are just "daaaaaaayum" And their personalities are so damn funny. I love Ronnie. He leaves furious and she goes after him. Then when Sammie asks straight up "did u hook up?" she's like "wow! like she's so insecure, and i got my own issues w/my own man, and don't want to cause problems" but this skank was the one who put that shit in Ronnie's ear.

This show is disgustingly entertaining. The way they see the world is so idiotic and hilarious you can't help but watch be amazed a whole group of people can be so self centered. I bet if this show ever hit Italy's air waves the italians would CRINGE at the sight of how these people worship Italy but have no sense of the country itself. Love this show its absolutely the best thing MTV has had on in a long time and people who complain about it being stereo typing please come to the tri-state area that is the way people act around here I have in this area for a number of years living in jersey long island and now the city its classic and I LOVE SNICKERS!!! and J wow and ronnie I could live wiht out sam and THE SITUATION IS MY MAN!!!!
