and finally, with respect to your comment about her "history with diabetes". you either have it or you don't… there is no cure for diabetes, therefore it is impossible to have a history.

I can understand such suspicion arising, what kind of husband doesn't man up and call 911, furthermore opposing an autopsy is highly suspicious…if she did die of unnatural, preventable circumstances…then does he feel some type of guilt, was he an enabler that exacerbated any problems? It's law in CA to conduct an autopsy for any death deemed suspicious as this one is deemed. Perez is not off base here. Drugs are involved. Diabetes is not. Long-term effects of anorexia is a distant possibility.

An autopsy isn't necessary to confirm cause and manner of death. An external exam to rule out trauma can be done along with a toxicology test would be enough. I'll bet they are only conducting an autopsy because she is a celebrity and if they didn't do one people like you wouldn't understand and the LA County Coroner's office would be crucified. Same with the MJ death. He didn't need an autopsy either to determine an OD. Tox results confirm that.
Just a theory… but maybe he doesn't want an autopsy to be performed because and everyone else who NEEDS to know (i.e. close friends, family) already know or have a good theory on what caused her death. She might (I'm not saying she was because I don't know if it's completely true) have been anorexic, had an eating disorder of had drug problems; all three are key factors in triggering cardiac arrest in general, and especially at a young age. So maybe, the family doesn't want an autopsy because they might be afraid that asses like TEE. Em.
