Reports say Simon Monjack strongly opposes the Los Angeles County Coroner's office's decision to perform an autopsy on Murphy!!!!
The coroner's office are still planning to performing an autopsy on the late actress and there is a pending investigation by both the Coroner and the LAPD in the cause of Brittany's death.
WTF was going on in the hours leading up to Murphy's death????
And was Monjack responsible in any way?????

the coroner has just confirmed it WASNT drug related. i was jsut reading an interview she did a couple weeks ago talking about she wanted kids and starting a family was her new years resolution - thats just heartbreaking. she had so much future that will never happen.

For once, I agree with you, Perez. An autopsy performed on a person as young as she is standard procedure and vital to learning what caused her early and untimely demise. Simon probably gave her a too-large dose of _____ (?) (whatever left him incapacitated on that airplane a few weeks ago) and he just doesn't want to be criminally implicated in contributing to her death by supplying her with whatever killed her. This is so tragic. She was SUCH a talented girl who wore her heart on her sleeves and who'd suffered her own share of tragedies in the last few years. My heart goes out to her mom, who is still battling breast cancer. I cannot imagine having the strength to survive the loss of my child while being so physically ill. So terribly sad!! I'll miss her bubbly, sweet demeanor. She was so child-like and vulnerable.

I THINK that they are Jewish - The Jewish religion opposes an autopsy being done on their decesased. I am pretty sure they ARE Jewish because I DO know (for fact) that they DID get married in a Jewish ceremony. She was brought up Christian - He IS Jewish - and I THINK she converted to Judism when they married. So, being married in a Jewish ceremony and him 100% being Jewish….that actually DOES explain him NOT wanting an autopsy - it is religion-based. That being said — is there OTHER reasons he doesn't want an autopsy?? Maybe. Maybe Not. It is probable that there are other reasons — such as trying to keep the world from knowing it was drug-related perhaps. People have waaayyy less sympathy when it is drug-related and maybe he is just trying to ALSO (along with the religion factor) keep let her passing be with dignity. He certainly isn't trying to keep the autopsy from happening due to him doing something to her - foul play. Let's just all assume it IS the religion factor and give this man a break. He did just lose his love.

Perez is not jumping to conclusions. She obviously was not healthy right before she died because in the picture i saw of her you could see the bones in her arms. And to me arm bones sticking out isnt natural. She didnt die of a natural cause and Perez's blogs didnt make her kill herself. Since no one knows why she really died maybe they should do an autopsy. It's not like he's going to see her cut open so i dont know why hes so against it. If my husband died i would wanna know the reason. There's something shady here. One of my family members was shot and killed and everyone knows why he died. Because several bullets hit him and one of them straight to the heart. Even though this wasa devastatting and he was a victim who was never involved with gangs, no one ever opposed an autopsy. They gave a full report. When a loved one dies you want all information possible. Even if you already know how they died. You want to know details about it to make more sense of it. Maybe this guy is like Anna Nicole's husband. Slowly killed her and is hoping to take some of her money. Maybe he doesn't want fingers pointed to him.

Murphy's husband has no choice, this is a coroner's case, as with all sudden deaths. No death certificate will be issued until the coroner has determined the cause of death. The preliminary autopsy was completed this evening. They are waiting for the toxicology results, which might take up to 3 weeks.

As far as her suffering from diabetes, that is a illness that can be monitored and treated. So for those of you who think it could be related to her death, do some research.

I know several Jewish families who strongly oppose autopsy, and believe that the body should be left in its natural state for burial.
