Pals of Brittany Murphy are coming forward with some pretty shocking accusations against the fallen actress. There are some who are insisting that the actress was hooked on painkillers, similar to the ones that aided in the death of Michael Jackson.
The sources say after a series of plastic surgery operations, Brittany became addicted to Vicodin, a drug often used by MJ. The source told the press:
"We have been very worried something like this was about to happen. Brittany has been living life on the edge. She definitely had a drug problem and we have all begged her to seek help. Sadly our words fell on deaf ears."
As hard as it might be to admit it, we can't help but believe this is true. No healthy, drug-free 32-year-old dies of a heart attack without a little help.

People that were close to her and loved her didn't come through with the tough love like they should have and tried harder to get her help. Heavy vomiting alone can sometimes be enough to give a healthy person a heart attack. Vomiting puts an enormous amount of strain on the heart muscle. But more than likely her heart was already weakened because of her weight and/or drug use and the vomiting pushed her into cardiac arrest. That is my guess.
Well, according to AP, she was experiencing flu-like symptoms over the past few days and they still in the process of investigating personal health records and running tests.
And yes, some seemingly healthy people die at the age of 32 with little or no warning without 'extra help'.

It's not exactly accurate to say that no 32 year old can die of a heart attack without help. Genetics and many other factors often play a role in heart disease. A classmate died from a heart attack when I was in the 6th grade and my father had his first heart attack when he was in his early 30s. It's safe to say that neither of them were hooked on painkillers. We should really just wait until all of the facts are out or at the very least avoid making broad statements that are inaccurate

Cardiac arrest and heart attack are not the same thing. Although it is possible that a heart attack can cause cardiac arrest. Most news papers are saying it was a cardiac arrest. It would be nice if you get your facts straight.

I'm not saying the drug thing isn't possible, anything is, but young people that never had a previous medical history of heart problems or drug/alcohol abuse can and do drop dead of cardiac arrest. It's RARE, but it does happen.

She had gotten fired from a movie and couldn't even get through scenes, where as Michael Jackson was doing a comeback for his fans who had very open arms and were excited for him to be doing the concerts. Though some say Michael was a shell of his previous self, if you watch THIS IS IT, he was so ready!! I don't think Brittany would have really gotten better where as Michael could have. Michael had a reason for taking drugs….not the ones he was taking but he had sleeping problems and needed an aid, Brittany was just taking them because she was addicted. And those drugs aren't what killed Michael…alot more dangerous one did.

It happens….did to me. Had a severe heart attack at 32, 6 months after severe knee trauma/surgeries. No history, ever, of heart disease/stroke in my family and wasn't any type of addict. Became/am an opiate addict YEARS later…..perhaps unconsciously due to my fear of natural death??

Young people die all the time with no help from drugs. A friend of mine died Dec 18, 2008. She just literally fell over dead in her bedroom of a massive heart attack. And no, she didnt take any drugs. Her autopsy showed she had something called a Mitro Valve problem, and theyre still not sure that THAT is even what killed her. It happens!

I don't believe she took drugs. But I think when I look back to the picture of her 2 weeks ago, that she suffered from an eating disorder. She lost weight and looked really skinny. Think about karen carpenter who died at the age of 32 in 1983 bc of anorexia. a similar story, coz her mother found her also in the bathroom…let's hope that the truth will come out soon!

The LA Connor’s office is reporting that she "Died of Natural Causes", Although a full post-mortem has yet to be completed, I think it is quite unnecessary to assume she died because of a drug overdose because a "Pal" say's she was doing drugs. I think this is reckless.

The last time I checked MY medical knowledge, which is very extensive; it most certainly is possible for a seemly healthy 32 year old female to die of natural causes, especially from a heart related issue. Cardiac problems can strike suddenly and without notice, in the healthiest people. For example, over 6000 deaths this past year were attributed to Right Ventricular Cardiac Dysplasia and this took place in the 20-25 year old male category. Many of them were athletic, health men who had very few systems prior to their death.
So I think you should be more clear in your 'blogg' and not slander a persons name by inferring that they passed due to a drug overdoes when in all cases, at this point that is not what is being pointed to by the LAPD or Medical Professionals.

I think it is absolutely horrible that "friends" of these individuals come out to the media to get attention, money or whatever. I wish our society wasn't so fascinated with immediately associating drugs with every celebrity death that occurs.. and even if the accusations are true, millions of people around the world struggle with addictions..maybe instead of stereotyping or negatively relating drugs with celebrities we should consider that they are real people who have the same problems as everyone else..except they are in the public eye and have constant pressure put on them.

1ST OF ALL - It WASN'T a heart attack, it was a full cardiac arrest, heart attack = blockage; cardiac arrest = heart stops beating. 2 - She was vomiting before she had the cardiac arrest, which is a symptom that reportedly occurs prior to the arrest; 3 - she was diabetic which puts her at risk for Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) which most often occurs in people in their mid 30s/40s, killing more people in the U.S than Breast Cancer, AIDS and heart disease….do some research before opening your mouth, you may be found a more credible source.

PS - I am not sure, but it is highly unlikely that she had Type 2 diabetes, it would make more sense that she had Type 1 since she is so thin and had a pretty active lifestyle. People are born with type 1, people acquire type 2.

Smoking cigarettes while being on birth controls pills is one of the LEADING cause of death for young women her age. Smoking+birth control pills leads to cardiac arrest and death.

Myocardial infarction is caused by a clot in the coronary arteries and often does NOT lead to cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest is when the heart stops beating and can be due to structural defects, trauma, drugs that affect the nervous system, etc.

I know this is a post about Brittany and I don't want to turn it into a discussion about Michael or anything but I really agree with you regarding this and wanted to touch on it. All of the people (including Perez) who doubted that he was ready when he made the concert announcements and even after his passing didn't even talk about how wonderful he was. "This is It" hit theatres and all the haters mysteriously got very quiet. Michael and his crew were so ready for those shows and contrary to what many believed, he had never lost his gift. He was better then ever.
