Dance Judges Glides Out On Bail

Late last night, Shane Sparks, the dance judge who was arrested Friday on charges of child molestation, was set free on bail. Upon his exit from jail, Sparks and his lawyer, Steve Meister, called the case "extortion, Hollywood style."
He has a point, considering that his accuser waited 15 years to charge him with the crime and of course, waited until he had a little fame to his name. Sparks' lawyer says the charges are "are completely without merit" and that Sparks "knows he is innocent and will fight to clear his name."
We'll see about that. It's not a stretch to call it extortion, but then again, he isn't THAT famous!

uhmmm he is that famous ; he's done choreography for MANY movies; just because he hasn't done anything you might know of - doesn't mean he's "not that famous". this is a bunch of bullshit. if it was that serious of a crime - she would have got in his ass YEARS AGO. what exactly did he do to "molest" her. what i think it was, is that she probably took a class from him (and if you see his choreogrpahy, some of it is very sexual), and she felt uncomfortable and didn't say anything, now this bitch wants to take it out on him. stupid bitch.

I work in CPS and deal with this all day everyday. 15 years is nothing compared to what some people wait. Especially if it were "consensual" at the time. I say consensual because, we are guessing that her age was 15 it just said that 15 was the oldest she could be, could have something to do with terminology in the law also, kids that young aren't capable of giving consent to men 10 years older than them (at least).

Innocent until proven guilty. I for one think this is horrendous. I sure hope he does not lose his sources of income. this is ridiculous and sad. everyone seems to want to sue or extort someone famous. what happened to working hard and being proud of your own accomplishments instead of being jealous and feeling self entitled? these charges are serious and the prosecutor should not have been so reckless. if someone made allocations against john smith that where 15 years old the prosecutor would not even take the phone call. at best even if they where 3 years or less- prosecutor would not act unless there was a video tape and a confession. less than a year- medical proof would be needed. look around at the cases the prosecution chooses to charge and the standard of evidence in those cases NONE have ever been over a year old. this is a fact. now look at this case and ask yourself whats the difference? the evidence that the prosecution has in his last 100 cases vs this case is drastically different. guess someone is running for election??
My head is spinning on this one. On the one hand, he sounds like a sick lil pervert who needs to be locked up 4evah. On the other hand, I and many others have lavished praise on Michael Jackson- despite the fact that he, um, did the exact same thing. This is a toughie.
He actually is PRETTY DAMN FAMOUS DUMBASS, and one hell of a choreographer.
Re: BB11 – There is no statute of limitations on sexual abuse if he were a caregiver at the time, which i think could probably be made the argument if they were dating or whatever at the time. If there is no statute of limitations it could be 15 minutes or 50 years it doesn't matter. ALL sexual abuse cases are investigated. If the victim is adult then its an AMAC, adult molested as a child, and should the victim want to press charges the investigation and criminal charges go forward. I'm not saying he was guilty, but working in the field, they are more likely guilty than not. Innocent until guilty is right, but it isn't absurd in any way to think that someone would wait this long, it happens far more often than you think it is being handled precisely the way it is supposed. If he is innocent, it will be proven and he should have nothing to hide.
I think this sounds fishy I think he's getting set up, he might not be super famous but he's on 2 television shows (that are fairly popular) and he is one of the most popular Hip Hop Choreographers in the world so teaches tons of classes so thats more than enough for this young lady to try and set him up!

There are some celebrities that I could see actually doing this, but he is not one of them. I do not believe this story is true at all. What ever happened to innocent before proven guilty?!? How about we post a story on the internet saying that you jack off to underage boys (like Justin whats-his-face, and Taylor Lautner), and see how well THAT goes over.
