So Regis is feeling his age? Regis Philbin had surgery, estupido. Remember how you were crying like a baby when you go hit?- imagine how Regis feels and stfu. Those are cheap shots at someone that is going thru a tough time, regardless of his age.

It's for one day.It's not like he is taking Regis' spot.The brothers have so much shit coming up like filming the 2nd season of the TV show,promoting CR2,another world tour next summer,etc.Why is everyone acting like they are breaking up? When they eventually go there separate ways Joe will probably break into acting which is dumb because he kinda sucks at that but whatever he'll look good doing it.
Nick Jonas has the personality of stale potato chips. The whole "I'm good looking and oh so bored with life" routine doesn't exactly make for a good talk show host.
This kid seriously looks so feminine. I'm sure he's nice but how do so many girls be so obsessed with him? If he grew his hair a bit longer, put on a dress n some lip gloss I would definitely think he was a chick.

When Nick is by himself he actually has a personality. I think he lets his guard down a bit because Joe and Kevin aren't there to keep the jokes going so he has to be clever too and not just talk business. I saw him on Alexa Chung and a couple interviews he's done with MTV and VH1 about his solo stuff and he's actually quite charming. I think he'll do nicely. Kelly will balance him out well. Besides, it's not like it's a permanent gig. It's one day. I think for one day he'll do just fine. Plus I'm pretty sure he's the youngest guest host they've ever had. It's not like the brothers are breaking up or anything anyway. Joe is doing some acting stuff and Kevin will enjoy being married a bit while Nick does his solo thing and they go back to filming for the TV show and doing press for Camp Rock 2 and planning another world tour for the summer.

People act like they're breaking up because all of the things they are doing are showing that working as a band has become their lowest priority right now. It's not a great sign, mainly because of the way so much effort has been thrown behind Nick's lame "side" project. Especially if you are the kind of fan who thinks JONAS & CAMP ROCK 2 doesn't count as Jonas Brothers working as a band.
If they don't care, I don't care, but fans need to stop being so blind about it and realize they are telling you what you want to hear, not nec. what is true. We'll see if/when this little hiatus is over. I have zero interest in Nick Jonas alone in concert - I've seen him many times already and was not half as impressed with him as with his brothers, so I'm certainly not watching these promo appearances.
When Joe & Kevin are back making music with him, I'll come off of hiatus, too.
He'll be good. He's adorable.
If Nick Jonas is a host with Kelly Ripa I will STOP watching that show. Not everyone can do everything, hell the Jonas brothers can barely sing.
