No Foul Play Suspected In Brittany Murphy's Death

In their preliminary investigation the LAPD has determined that no foul play or other criminality occurred in the death of actress Brittany Murphy.
The police are now waiting on the autopsy results from the L.A. County Coroner in which case they may investigate further if there is reasonable cause to do so.
The autopsy is currently being conducted by the Coroner.
We'll keep you posted…

It occurred to me almost immediately that she was entirely too thin and that insufficient intake of food can cause electrolytes to go slug-nutty and thence a heart attack!

I was just going back through old pages on your site to see more on Brittany..Now I know why I only read your site when something bad happens. She hasn't even been dead for a day yet and that is ALL anyone can talk about.. pills, and anorexia.. how about people take 3 seconds and have some decency for her life. The coroner didn't rule out drugs. Why do people keep saying that? They said a toxicology report will be done. As in it hasn't happened yet!

It happened here to a perfectly healthy teen who played in a hockey tournament on the weekend and was dead 2 days later. My ex husband had a mitral valve replacement at 28 and would have died had they not found the leaky valve that he was BORN WITH. And it went unnoticed for 28 YEARS!! It DOES happen.

I was one of the thousands who complained to them about Jan Moirs article - i think Perez has hit a lot of the same buttons here. to disrespect a grieving family like this within hours of unexpected death of someone the loved is just inhuman. i would quite like to lock Perez and Jan in a room together until one had to eat the other and then died of starvation.
