      She could have done work worthy of all kinds of praise and awards and Perez et al would have said this. I missed the lisp. I thought the writing (at least out of contest) was much worse than the acting.
      Lastly, her acting suffered in comparison to William Hurt, a living legend, I am sure in her monster films her acting ability keeps pace with her fellow actors in terms of ability.

      I love how people think that it's really easy to have a southern accent. Her accent in the beginning sounds slightly British and in the end it's cliche southern, like 'CRAI' instead of Cry. Um, no, most southerners have a more subtle accent and rarely say CRAI. Apparently, Hollywood has only listened to their own movies in trying to mimic southern accents, instead of listening to southerners. In the South, the accent is rarely as exaggerated (or British) as you see Kristen Stewart here, though, granted her rendition of a Southern accent is even more off than usual.

      When I first saw Twilight, I couldn't & didn't, understand what the fuss was about with Kristen Stewart. The acting in that movie was so terrible, so over done & obvious that it made the entire movie unbearable for me to sit through.

      Now, she has done some independent movies where she isn't too bad. However, acting beside William Hurt can make anyone look bad!! You have to have some pretty meaty acting talent and/or experience to hold your own next to an acting heavyweight like him, (which she obviously doesn't yet). So it's not entirely her fault.
