Brittany's Funeral Planned For Christmas Eve

Very sad.

We've just learned that final arrangements for Brittany Murphy have come together. She will be laid to rest tomorrow, Christmas Eve, at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills.

The ceremony is listed as being "strictly private."

Not such a great way to spend the holiday.

      Am I the only one who wasn't really shocked by this? She did seem off her rocker and under the influence of something. It's quite evident in her movies/mannerisms. However, it is still sad, and no mother deserves to find her child like that.

      That is so true. I know what it's like to have a sad Christmas…my mother passed away 12/9, her service was on 12/19, and on 12/24 my dad went into the hospital with complications from a procedure he had a couple weeks before my mother went into hospice. He is still in the hospital, but hopefully will be home before the year ends.

      I really feel for Brittany's family right now…I know firsthand what it's like to have pain and sadness during the holidays. You don't feel like celebrating at all.

      Brittany was a beautiful and talented actress. Thank goodness her image and smile are preserved on film for generations to enjoy.
