A hefty allegation and for Frances Bean Cobain's sake, we sincerely hope it isn't true.
Sources are revealing that lawyers in the Courtney Love & Frances Bean case have been asked to seal documents relating "to a minor and allegations of domestic violence."
These new documents don't get too specific, but they do refer to Frances Bean's medical records and keeping them out of the public eye. The docs also say "In this proceeding, every document reveals details of Frances's (sic) relationship with her mother."
Could physical abuse been the cause of Frances leaving her mother and getting a restraining order?
It certain seems more plausible now!

Poor girl, I imagine she's gone through quite a lot in her 17 years. It's really too bad her mom couldn't get it together for her sake, but she does seem to have a good head on her shoulders. She is right where she needs to be, and hopefully she stays far away from the spotlight, just look at what fame did to her parents. I wish her the very best, she has a bright future ahead of her.
Some mothers spank, some belt, some ignore, some put them up for adoption, and some kill, their children. Life is not always a bowl of cherries for everyone. That's what prayers are for and mine certaintly go out to Courtney and her daughter Frances. At the end of the day I'm sure Frances loves her mom and Courtney loves Frances
I don't nothing anything about this case, but the answer to "could it" is yes, of course, unfortunately. I don't think there is too much worse then loosing confidence in a mum and a mum not truly caring beyond their own selves, so I hope this isn't the case.

Disciplining a child and domestic abuse is not the same thing! White parents especially need to go back to the days when they believed in and practiced "….spare the rod spoil the child" instead of being preoccupied with being friends with their children. It never ceases to amaze the level of disrespect and ingratitude White parents will tolerate. Yet they are always dumb founded when their kids build bombs, massacre and rape all by age 15.

I've actually met Frances. It was at an industry party just outside of L.A. about a year ago. She's an ignorant little bitch who prefaces most statements with "MY DAD WAS KURT COBAIN…" The scary thing was that I think she is illiterate as she could not read an article written about her (well, it was about her mom). She tried but needed her assistant to help with every third word. That and the fact that she threw back about a dozen Red Bull and vodkas in the 45 minutes I met with her makes me have very little sympathy for this kid.

Considering it's her attorney's that are asking for the courts to seal the docs it could be anything from her mother abusing her to her having a mental disorder and abusing her mother, to her being out of control and having to be restrained and in the process being injured.

"Frances's" is correct, therefore "sic" is unnecessary. This was not an error on the part of the original writer. Singular nouns that end in "s" are still made possessive with an apostrophe and an "s".

No, I don't think she beat her but I do think she's on drugs and possibly introduced her daughter to them. You know, she one of those "cool" (looser) parents who think it okay to drink and do drugs with their teenagers.
