Fans of Ricky Gervais' podcast will be pleased to find out that the comedian's downloadable shows have inspired an animated comedy series!

HBO is scheduled to air 13 episodes of The Ricky Gervais Show starting February 19th, which will feature characters voiced by the original creator of The Office as well as Stephen Merchant and friend Karl Pilkington.

Will U watch??

      Hells YES I will watch. Anything Ricky does is at the very least interesting. I've listened to the podcasts over the years and they are hilarious.

      The Ricky Gervais podcast collection is the funniest thing ever! It's like the best bits from the best talk radio program you've ever heard. If you are a fan of Howard Stern and think the best parts of his show are *not* the porn star interviews, but rather the parts where Howard just talks with Robin and Artie, or winds up Gary, then you will love the Ricky Gervias Show podcasts. Stephen Merchant is also so quick witted and clever. Karl "the C man" Pilkington, however, has no experience, very little education, and is now known the world over as having a head like a f***ing orange.

      HBO needs something to build up it's brand again. Having basically only True Blood and Big Love in your stables is not enough (I missed hung). Showtime is kicking their ass.
