We would LOVE to have Janet Jackson as our auntie!
The pop star is spending thousands to make Christmas fun for her late brother Michael Jackson's three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket. A source close to the family says:
"It was to be a quiet, somber holiday this year but Janet has stepped in to make it just like Michael did - fun. Michael loved Christmas. He was like a big kid and now Janet has taken that on. She must have spent thousands on trees, decorations and the kind of toys Michael would have loved to be fooling around with on Christmas morning.
"Christmas is especially significant for the family this year as the first without Michael and the fact Christmas Day is exactly six months since his death."
How sweet that Janet is making the day all about the children.
We hope they have a fantastic time together — they deserve some happiness around the holidays!

I am happy she is doing this and it was apparent by the Bashir story that MJ celebrated the holiday in a big way with his children. But since we know Katherine is a devout Jehovah's Witness and at least one of MJs children has been photographed with JW literature, it is a little confusing. Perhaps they are exposing the children to multiple religious traditions. After Uncle Jermaine is now a Muslim.

trees and toys for these rich kids, when there are children in Pakistan and Haiti and Malawi who have no schools, no clean water, no food, no housing. Meanwhile Janet has enough to color her hair silver and buy useless consumer goods. best aunt? A good aunt would be teaching the children about injustice and deprivation. Those kids don't need toys. Yes, their dad is gone and now they are orphans……but they have extended family. Orphans in South Africa, many of them. have nothing at all.

Ummm, isn't the Jackson family Jehovah's Witnesses? I know Elizabeth Taylor gave Michael his first Christmas and it was great but watching the video he seemed to be very uncomfortable with the whole thing and I'm pretty sure I read that he felt terrible guilt afterwards being raised JW and all. And I also understand that Rebe and Grandma Jackson are raising Michael's kids as JWs and they go to the Kingdom Hall and do that stuff so Janet doing Christmas "like Michael did" doesn't make sense to me.

Michael grew up without celebrating holidays or birthdays and he always wanted that . Elizabeth Taylor knew that so she gave him his first Christmas. I think that Michael believed in god but he had no particular religion because he celebrates Christmas,he lived in Bahrain so he was surrounded by Islam culture,etc ..and to the people saying "spending money on rich kids when she could be helping poor people" need to shut the fuck up! Janet helped plenty of people before as did Michael! So just because they are rich they don't deserve presents? Go fuck off! its been a tough year for the kids and the whole family let them be you whining losers and yes I'm talking to you "contrarianchick" and how do you know Janet didn't already gave money to charities ?. Janet Jackson and the kids are not Jehova Witness's in fact the only Jehova's Witnesses are Katherine (the grandma) and Rebbie (michaels eldest sister). They all grew up jehova witnesses but when they got older they got away from it. Merry Christmas Janet and The kids and the rest of the Jacksons!

Re: contrarianchick – Do you know anything about Michael Jackson?? He was SO aware of the struggles other countries face and was very active in trying to improve their situation!! Surely some of that rubbed off on his children and they have already showed early signs of their giving nature. But you know, how about you go and depress them even more and try to make them feel guilty about something that they have nothing to do with, they're only 12 and under and are spending their first Christmas without the only parent they ever knew but losing your father is no big deal. Janet is trying to make what is left of the year good because in June, those kids lifes were turned upside down!!!

You mean his extorters?? And yes, they loved the fact that Michael treated them to Christmas like perks everyday. That's why they were so p'd off and wanted to stick it to him w/ their accusations once he tried to cut them off. Why don't you ask them yourself if they like Christmas?? Oh yeah. You can't. Janet is awesome. I'm sure she's not the only family member who is trying to make Prince, Paris, and Blanket's first Christmas without their Father very nice and to all the people questioning whether or not Janet is a Jehova's Witness and if Michael was… No they are not. Rebbie and Katherine are Jehova Witnesses. Though the children live w/ their Grandmother it does not mean that they still can't celebrate Christmas. Their Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins also have homes. Their are also other grandchildren and family members who live at there compound and I'm sure Katherine doesn't kick everyone out around the Holidays just because she can't celebrate them like they do. She more then likely just doesn't participate w/ the Christmas festivies. I know they do celebrate Thanksgiving a couple days earlier so their are ways that families work around other family members religious request.

Just as John Travolta, David Letterman and John Stamos did. If people are innocent and have nothing to hide, phone the cops. Justice will prevail, especially considering his means. Actually the extortion was the big accusation against him. They weren't extorting money from him before the accusations, they were just using him. The Kids and the Mother wanted to be where Michael was 24/7. When they couldn't find him at Neverland, they literally tracked him down. Yeah, before and after the times when Michael supposedly was doing the child harm, him and his family was trying to be with him. During the time Michael supposedly was doing the child harm the Mother was bragging about the fact that her child considered Michael like his father. He realized that he was being used and then cut them off. The extortion came after the fact. Didn't those "documents" tell you that?? Oh and speaking of late night talk show host (David Letterman as you mentioned) Someone who saw thru these same extortors game plan soon enough was Jay Leno. Chris Tucker, George Lopez, and especially Michael Jackson were not fortunate enough.

This is not true Perez. The children are active Jehovah's Witness'. They do not celebrate Christmas. You've reported that before and should know better.
So they are teaching these kids to be hypocrites! They raise them to be Jehovah witnesses and them give them a Christmas. Way to confuse the kids Jackson's! at least Michael left the religion before celebrating Xmas.
