      i love this guy. this song is my favorite off his latest album. to be honest, 90% of the album is my favorite though!

      All of Jay z's songs sound the same to me.
      Its hard to take him seriously as a rapper who raps about being poor and struggling when you know he's worth hundreds of millions of dollars and hasn't struggled for decades.

      I am sorry … I DO NOT see any talent in this man. He may be a great manager/producer — but he sucks at performing. Notice that he covers himself with much greater talent - even with this crap piece. How about Alicia Keyes in NY???? She carried that whole thing — he stood around stomping around and gestering in the air like shrek. I don't even know what Beyonce' see's in him … but … whatever.

      Re: buffymybasset – Its called Young Forever because i dont know if you are into the hip hop world but his fans call him Young Hov….so its more along the lines of "Young" Forever….thats his twist on it…..if it matters to you. hes coming to Norfolk, VA in March and this will be my 2nd time seeing him since 09'…and he KILLS it on stage no other rapper can sell out these types of arena's.

      WTF? Paul Young did this song so much better in the 80's. And I agree JayZ rap over it does not enhance the song. In 2010 I will rehash all my old 80's CD's of Erasure, Talk Talk and talk over them. Maybe I can be as untalented and unoriginal as JayZ.

      I think Jay-Z and Alicia set such a high standard with "Empire State of Mind" that any track would have a hard time following it. I like Jay-Z matched with a female voice or another hip hop artist more than a man's.
      I like Mr. Hudson (brought to you by Kanye West, his slightly more successful SLIIMY), he reminds me of a young Sting and Supernova was a big hit in the UK but he has yet to break through in the US. Maybe this will help.

      The intro is too long. But, the song is very touching. I like the guy singing Forever Young better then JayZ rapping. I think it will def grow on me. Made me think of being a little kid again, running around without a care in the world.
