Just what every little boy wants to do while vacationing in a winter wonderland: go shopping with his mother!

On Monday, Kate Hudson dragged her son Ryder throughout several stores in Aspen while she did some last minute Christmas shopping with pal Elle Macpherson.

Poor little guy probably just wanted to play in the snow! Where's a father figure to entertain him when you need one?!
