After running from the law this past fall, Randy and Evi Quaid finally showed up for their day in court in Santa Barbara this past Tuesday!
Only after they were arrested in Texas on Saturday!
The couple, who were charged with "burglary, defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy" after they left the San Ysidro Ranch without paying their bill, have pled not guilty to the charges.
"They were never on the run from the law," Rod Ponton, lawyer for the Quaids, told reporters. "There's a lot of misinformation out there about this. It's much ado about nothing."
The Quaids are expected back in court on March 1st for the preliminary hearing - but will they actually show???

Really? Because when someone is released from jail, or subpoenaed, they aren't informed with specific dates and times verbally and/or in writing if/when they need to appear in court to resolve any charges or disputes…and just told to go on their merry way, and go on multiple random road trips?
