Steven Tyler Goes To Rehab
We're glad he's getting help AGAIN!
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has issued an official statement saying that he is entering a rehabilitation facility for his addiction to prescription medication:
"With the help of my family and team of medical professionals, I am taking responsibility for the management of my pain and am eager to be back on the stage and in the recording studio with my bandmates."
Tyler's addiction arose from suffering many injuries over the last 10 years of performing.
This might explain his erratic behavior we've been hearing about from his bandmates.

I saw Steven Tyler at a pizza place in NYC several days ago. He was with a much younger woman and he definitely appeared to be medicated. It really bummed me out. Glad he is getting help.
With so many celebrities dying from this kind of addiction its nice to see someone take control and handle it the right way! Way to go Stephen Tyler!

Perez or staff, if you read the comments, could you one day address this question: How do all the old rock guys stay in what appears to be 28-inch jeans?? Mick Jagger and Ron Wood are just as skinny as Steven Tyler.
Paul McCartney looks normal and who cares about Ringo whats-his-name since he hates fans, but the real rock guys are as small as they were when they were 19.
Any ideas?????
One more thing, Perez or staff, I forgot to ask—aside from their great weights, what is it with the hair?? How do they all have such great hair in their 60's??

Steven Tyler looks GREAT. I'm sorry about his addiction and I'm sure he'll work through that, but he looks the picture of health compared to a regular guy his age who hasn't been doing drugs for so many years.
Even Keith Richards has great hair and he had cranial surgery just a few years ago after "falling off his perch"—falling out of a coconut tree.
Please let us know what you think the secret of old rockers might be. That way we can all try it.

Seriously, Steven Tyler in Crocs and that ugly coat. He needs more than rehab.
I had the honor of working with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith producing a public service announcement campaign for RADD. We met in Montreal and shot the video over a two day period. I've worked with hundreds of celebrities during my career, but Steven Tyler stands out of one of the most gracious and kindest to his fans. It was a thrill to work with a living icon. The live concert where he performed after we finished filming was truly the experience of a lifetime. I'm saddened to hear that he is having these issues and send healing prayers for a fast recovery and return to the stage.
