      just cute thats it! I use to be a karate kid fan and I will admit i was excited for a remake but not with such a young star….kinda weird for me and seems like its definitely geared for a much younger crowd than the original. Probably not such a good move in my opinion.

      It could be good, but the kid has the genes of two of the most obnoxious and annoying fame-whore personalities in Hollywood, so hopefully he has fallen far, far from that tree. Our luck, he is just another big williy that we will have to endure for another generation.

      I hate remakes and have not been a fan of Smith's spawns acting talents, but he seems to have improved a bit. I doubt I would see it but it came off better than the still released a month or so ago.

      I wish this kid luck and all but there's something in his on screen attitude so far that I find off-putting. Something smug, unlike his Dad who always seemed so open and approachable on TV and in films. Some of that could just be our knowing who his Dad is and figuring the kid got the breaks he has -not thru talent, but through genetics. If he turns out some great performances maybe all that will dissipate..

      Doomed to fail at the box-office, IMOP. Jaden can gain some experience, though. His dad had talent but traded it for fame. All of his biggest movies have been just as famous for the CGI as well as Will as the star. This REMAKE is also full of CGI. I truly believe that Hollywood has gone "corporate" and thrown the talent out.

      This movie does not look good. At all. The kid (is that their son or daughter?) has zero charisma. But I guess if your parents are rich and famous, talent doesn't matter when it comes to landing the job.
