Paris Believed In Santa Until She Was 16!

In the spirit of the season, Paris Hilton has confessed to believing in Saint Nick until she was 16 years old!
How did she keep from finding out for that long?!
Even now, at the tender age of 28, she still insists that her mother, Kathy Hilton, put out a stocking for Santa Claus on Christmas.
But while she may have outgrown the stories of reindeer and the red suit, Paris still finds Christmas to be a special time of year for her family and those close to her she considers family:
"I just love Christmas. It's a great excuse to go all out. I always spend the day with my family. This year we're doing it at home, which is really exciting. My mom will cook an amazing meal and we'll eat lots and just spend time together. Later on in the day I'll invite some of my friends, whose parents have passed away or who don't have family in town, to come over. I hate to think of anyone being on their own on Christmas Day."

My daughter is almost 9 and still believes in Santa Claus and I hope it continues. Other kids try to tell her otherwise and she doesn't believe them. My concern is when she DOES figure it out, will it hurt her in any way. I remember after I stopped believing in Santa, Christmas didn't seem as magical. In my story of Santa and how he operates that I tell my daughter, I truly am starting to re-believe!

Whatever the truth is, it scares me that we have gotten to the point in US society where this level of dumbness is considered acceptable enough to admit in public. God help us.
