Brittany Murphy's Husband Continues To Blab
Simon Monjack hasn't hesitated for a second from speaking with the media about Brittany Murphy!
Some matters are better left private, don't U think?
Monjack has given a lengthy interview with a UK tabloid, arguing against the allegations that he's a "conman" and was a bad influence on Murphy until the end.
"I know I have been called a conman," said Simon. "I am not perfect. I never said I was. But there has been so much rubbish written about me and Brittany. Most of what you read is made up."
So why, according to Monjack, has the media been so quick to point fingers at the British screenwriter???
"My problem is that I do not look like Ashton Kutcher… Nor do they like the fact that she [Brittany] married someone who was not famous. [In Hollywood], stars like stars to marry other stars," claimed Monjack.
Yeah, it had nothing to do with the accusations of owing numerous people hundreds of thousands of dollars or that he violated the terms of his American visa!
Monjack went on to describe the last few hours of Murphy's life, stating his wife was "tired and a little sad because she was sick."
And how about the bottles upon bottles of prescription meds found by Brittany's bedside after her death?
"…Addicts hide away their pills. They do not leave them on the nightstand like Brittany," said Simon. "Some of them were old and date back to when Brittany had some ailment or other. You know how people accumulate things and never throw them away."
He's got an answer for everything, doesn't he?

I have pain pills from my c-section, I also have allergy pills, depression pills, muscle relaxers from a car accident, pain pills for menstrual cramps…. so many pills. She had issues just like everyone does but she went too far when she took that much medication. If her father was a mobster as they say, she could have fallen for shady Monjack just because he resembled her father. She could have been unhappy for many reasons but Perez wasn't the main one. Even if she truly was a prescription drug addict (which is still up for debate), does that make her death any less tragic? A beautiful young woman is dead, her family is devastated, yet for some reason people (not just Perez) feel the need to make all sorts of judgments about her. If in the end it is determined that her death was the result of an overdose or complications from an eating disorder, will that make some people feel better? Addicts and individuals who suffer from eating disorders aren't generally the happiest people on earth. They have their own demons they are trying to deal with. Maybe instead of passing judgment on Brittany Murphy and her husband, the correct response would be to feel a little bit of compassion!

His comment about prescription drugs is spot on - I HATE taking prescription drugs, but if you looked in my bathroom you'd find RX bottles dating back to 2005 for random things…I never finish my prescriptions (except when it's antibiotics). I also never seem to throw them out. It's obvious that she was very thin, and possibly that she was on some sort of drugs based on stories from her colleagues, but STOP insinuating that this man caused her death and that she died from a drug overdose.
