Jolie and Pitt made a donation to SOS Children's Villages for $100,000 as a Christmas gift to the organization!

SOS Children's Villages currently has two locations - SOS-Florida and SOS-Illinois - in which the company offers an "alternative form of foster care in the US" so siblings aren't forced to be separated in the adoption process.
"We have seen first-hand the remarkable job SOS does to raise orphaned and abandoned children and keep families together," said Jolie. "No one 'ages out' of an SOS Village: vocational training, advanced education, living assistance and moral support are there forever."
Pitt continued, "In this holiday season, many of us take for granted that we are surrounded by loving family members. The poor outcomes for foster children indicate that we must do a much better job of supporting them."
These two are always paying it forward!

It is amazing how much his life has changed since being with Angelina. When he was with Jennifer all he did was primp and pose. Since beingwith angelina he has done so much charitable works. A lot of people have had their lives enriched because of his and angelina's good deeds.

i used to volunteer at the SOS village and they had to cancel an after school program bc their funding was stopped. these kids not only lost family and had a lack of livilihood in their lives but their on going education and afterschool program was stopped. this is so nice to hear about. SO nice

I love the fact that they donate millions of dollars to charities each year. However, I can't stand the fact that they need to broadcast every donation they make for media attention. So many other celebrities donate and it's private…whatevs I guess.

I love them they are SO generous! They are amazing! This SOS foundation sounds good too. I know Michael Jackson was very generous but it never made the paper! Madonnass needs to follow suit, selfish bitch! She asks for donations from citizens in HER HONOR! She donated 100k which is like 10 bucks from us, then ACTS as if she's helping Malawi!
Here's the deal: at least they are doing something. Whether they want the world to acknowledge it or not doesn't matter. It is human for anyone to want their good deeds to be known. It doesn't negate the good it does.
They give way more than Oprah, but everyone has their lips simply glued to that woman's ass. But when Angelina gives, people find ill in it. She plays with knives and has tattoos and thinks blood is sexy; deal with it. It is idiotic to look a gift horse in the mouth; you think those kids care whether it got them publicity? Let's not lose all perspective here!

this is a great charity. i have quite a few friends who were in foster care, and once they turned 18, the system doesn't do anything really to help them adjust. one friend was homeless part of his senior year of high school. programs like this are needed in this country.
