Lady GaGa is New Year's hottest ticket, with her scheduled appearance at the Fontainebleau in Miami having sold over $1 million in ticket sales!!!
Tickets for Gagita's NYE celebration are almost non-existent, with only a couple of $25k tables and general admission seats left, according to the stats over at NewYearsEve.com.
"I'm in awe of the fact that Lady Gaga will make the Fontainebleau the hottest ticket in America on New Year's Eve," said NewYearsEve.com site founder Andrew Fox.
See you in Miami to ring in 2010, little monsters!!!

However, I applaud her creativity and furor in her pursuit for center stage. Good or bad, press is always good for spreading fame and she has mastered it as an art. Those who hate her are only helping her cause, so if you dislike her just ignore her. Nice job, Gaga, live well in your success.

Madonna came out in 82/83, her first LP sold 8 million worldwide to date, not 20 mill, and only was met initially with moderate success. It took her 2nd album and a "controversial" rolling around the MTV stage in a wedding dress for her to get the worldwide success of which you speak.
As far as LG's tour, who are you to say it sucks? Where's your credentials to criticize a tour? Do you really expect an artist in her first year to have the same tour figures as someone 10 & 25 years into their career? Even Madonna & Britney didn't break any records on their first time touring. Madonna didn't have 4 international #1 hits from her first album either, if you want to go there. Point aside, be a little realistic when you're comparing someone.
Lastly, I'm old enough (not that old, thank you) to remember Madonna when she first arrived on the scene. The very same statements you and your ilk are making that she won't last are the same comments Madonna haters were making in 84, the same comments Britney haters were making in 99. Keep it up!
