      Babies never fix marital problems, Perez. Obviously there are no kids in your family. A newborn eats every 2 or 3 hours all day, so the mother gets exhausted from breastfeeding and the father can't sleep the whole night because the baby is crying. This lack of sleep and new responsabilities get both parents really cranky and if there are problems already it might get worse. And for the mother it's harder to cope with the fact that she can be left by her husband anytime.
