It seems Charlie Sheen's family did not want him to go to Aspen to spend Christmas with his wife, Brooke Mueller.
"Things have been bad for a while," claims a source. "They begged Charlie not to go."
The couple got into a heated argument last time they were in town around Thanksgiving and Brooke threatened to call the police.
Charlie ended the night by checking into a hotel.
Looks like divorce might be the right way to go! Sad.
