Paramore On Writing Lockdown!
Amidst rumors last year that the band might breakup, Paramore gave themselves "a chance to get away and work out our personal issues" and now they are back!
In order to write their album Brand New Eyes, the band moved into a Malibu house together and even underwent counseling sessions to keep them together.
Lead singer, Hayley Williams, divulged:
"I was really scared and I didn't know, as friends, what the guys were going to think, but I was positive. I looked at it like, 'Well, if anything we're going to have a bunch of really good songs that tell a story.' I had faith that things would be better. Once we got to Malibu (to make Brand New Eyes), we lived in a house together and that was the first time we'd lived in a house together since we made (2007 album) Riot! So we were away from home and didn't really have a choice but to hang out with each other, and so we started to talk more and more. Everything felt like it was mending up until the last few days in the studio and by that point we were great, and it felt like we didn't really have anything to work out in the first place."
Phew! Good think it worked out!

I think going through the problems they went through made them an all around better band and they were able to make one of their best albums to date. They are such a talented band for being so young. I can't wait to see what they'll do in the future!

Well….I guess its sad to say that Brand New Eyes is their worst album by far…..and I was soooo looking foreward to it.

FINALLY news from paramore Perez…but…this is REALLY REALLY old..
Shitty emo band at best and at worst known mostly because of a sell-out song for a tween girl vampire flick. Brand New Eyes may have had a nice start off but ultimately no song from the album made the hot 100 for the year and the album itself is not among the top 200 of the year. Their tour played places smaller than my living room. All that therapy and mending so Hayley can leave the group and go solo like she wants to.

I don't know what you all are talking about. An Avril wannabe? Have you heard Hayley's voice? She is amaaazing. And of course it sucks that the got MORE popular from twilight, that's why the band decided not to do a song for New Moon. Those stupid girls just crowd up the concerts. And the small tour was exactly what they should have done. The two previous ones had been huge venues! Time for a more intimate show.
