R.I.P.
Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan, the 28-year-old drummer for Avenged Sevenfold, was found unresponsive in his Huntington Beach home on Monday.
“It appeared to be natural causes,” said the authories. “It's a coroner's case.”
An autopsy is currently pending to discover the cause of his sudden death.
As for Avenged Sevenfold, they issued the following statement on their website:
“It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy `The Rev' Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world's best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and we hope you will respect their privacy during this difficult time.”
Sullivan is survived by his wife, Leana MacFadden. In response to his tragic passing, the band's Facebook page received almost 5,000 condolence comments.
He will be greatly missed.

live in ohio…was suposed to see a7x 2 times…but "due to sudden illness" couldnt preform…to find out later it was guessed to be an od (dunno who in the band did/ was suposed to have od'ed)…but my guess is, the band was enjoyin the life..is sad when anyone whos is so young no matter what they do dies, but im guessin drugs….prayers r with those who loved and were loved by him….chins up kids, we will see another day

The Rev was such a talented drummer, a really great influence on the music industry. He's died much too soon. It's really good to see that you've recognized his death as a great loss, Perez. He really is a great musician.

How Nice of you to post this Perez! but Wow I was fucking gutted by this news…I adored the Rev tons it's like a piece of my heart was gone when I heard the news…I have't been a fan long,but it didn't take long for me to develope serious adoration for the band's music and for the awesome talents The Rev had he was an AMAZING drummer and just seemed like an amazing person…He was taken far too soon…I will always support A7X no matter what they decide with their future and I send my condolences to his family and friends…and please posters show some fucking respect geez!

Thank you for paying tribute to him in this article. He was a brilliant musician. AX7 may not be able to recover from the loss of him. It's so sad. He was my favorite member of the band! What a loss for his family and friends.

This is really sad and completely unexpected news. I love Avenged Sevenfold and saw them just last year in concert….they're amazing!! R.I.P The Rev!! Condolences to his family and friends, and to the band-mates-I'm sure they were close.
I still can't believe it.
No one can ever replace this brilliant man. His death has hit many, including myself, in a very hard way. He was a extraordinary musician. To say that he will be greatly missed is an understatement.
I only hope that he finds peace in his afterlife.
