Charlie Sheen Plays The Bad Boy Card For A Free Pass - And It Works!
Right now, there are two men whose names are synonymous with trouble this past holiday season - Tiger Woods and Charlie Sheen.
In the days after Tiger's whores came forward with their tales, Tiger lost his endorsements, his career, and his marriage.
In the days following Charlie Sheen's alleged attack on his wife, his show won the night in ratings and he remembered he was nominated for an Emmy this year.
But that's just how life is for Charlie: he fucks up and gets rewarded. This incident with his wife is certainly not the first time Charlie has been accused or found guilty of bad doings and it certainly isn't the first time he's walked away from it scot-free.
Over a decade ago, he was outed as a frequent client of Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss at the same time he was accused of assaulting a UCLA student who refused to have sex with him. He settled both matters in court and a few months later had a lucrative gig on Spin City.
What a punishment!
Of course, we all remember the turmoil Denise Richards endured with her then hubby a few years back. She left him reportedly because of his liking of hookers, gambling, drugs and alcohol. Instead of feeling remorse, he launched a kids' clothing line and attended the Golden Globes with a huge nomination.
We bet he feels guilty!
Considering the pattern, we don't feel like this time will be any different for good old Charlie.

I've been a huge Charlie Sheen fan… Granted, I have NO tolerance for guys who ever hit women, but frankly, I haven't seen any real proof yet. Just allegations. In terms of him being a sleazy, drunk, drug user who grew up downhill skiing through the '80's and '90's… yeah… That's nothing new… Who cares? And Two and a Half Men is a GREAT show, the numbers speak for themselves.

Charlie Sheen has no reason to lie about his image. Tiger was fooling everyone with his lily white wife in his ivory towers. He portrayed himself as perfection on and off the golf course. I'll gladly burn my sequined tiger tee now. Charlie is still fascinating and fun to watch he portrays himself on tv the way he actually is. BTW, he was raised on a golf course and that's how he got his start.

I think it fair and objective that his show/work is recognized, as it has nothing to do with his personal struggle. There are many other people who work on that show that maybe deserve recognition.

Charlie Sheen has been an unashamed jerk his whole life. He's always treated women terribly, and his penchant for drugs and hookers is public record. He admits it, he doesn't make excuses (in fact, the way he explains it, it makes sense in an odd way … not the way a clean living person would choose, but he isn't making choices for everyone, just himself in terms of his adult relationships - kids are another story, of course). If he had been violent with her in the past, why would she not only stay with him (with the kids in the house), but also impair her faculties around him?! Or tell him she wanted a divorce while drunk, while the kids are home, while she and the children were not in a safe place?!
