Oh No! Is Whitney Cracked Out Again???
This is not good news for our diva.
Close friends of Whitney Houston are suggesting that she is back to her old, evil ways as the pressure of a comeback has proven too much for her.
These sources claim that she may have returned to drugs and alcohol to cope with the stress of her new chart-topping CD.
The worried friends are suggesting that she is exhibiting some sketchy behavior similar to when she was using. One friend claimed:
“Whitney seems to go from being a nervous wreck to being completely out of it in a short period of time – just like she did when she was freebasing and using crack cocaine. She is still drinking and with Whitney, alcohol and drugs have always gone hand-in-hand. She’s worked so hard to get back on top. It would be tragic for it to go up in smoke because she can’t stay clean.”
Tragic indeed! Someone needs to get in there and stop her before it's too late! If she is using again, she got clean before, we hope she can do it again.

You can't force someone to be and stay clean if they don't want the help. It has to come from them. Not too surprised to be honest. A relapse is always one step away….hopefully she has a strong support system around her. The rest is up to her.
She would have probably been alright if she would have just stayed off the stage and out of the music business.

It's difficult if the recovering person has no effective substituting behavior to fill the gap not using leaves. Fill it with something truly rewarding, and the behavior becomes a last choice.
I hope this is not true. But if it is I can't say that I would be totally surprised, during her Oprah interveiw she did nothing but place blame elsewhere when it came to her problems. And when it came to her "so called" recovery she did nothing but talk about how it was her mothers and other peoples parayers. Dont get me wrong I am a STRONG beleiver in prayer but I also know you have to do some work yourself.

I hope this is not true, but from the moment she told Oprah she was going to continue drinking, I know her "sobriety" had a time stamp on it. You quit drugs you quit alcohol as well it is that simple.

Whitney Houston is an amazing artist and when I watched the two day Oprah special she seems really strong, I don't think she'd let everything turn to crap after she worked so hard to get back on top!!

As an off an on reader of this blog it saddens me to the core that Perez has decided to run such a story with the lame "close friends of Whitney" scenerio as reasons to put something this viscious into the world. If they are indeed close to Whitney they need to show their faces and have their voices be heard. In this day and age it is amazing that anyone can claim to have knowledge of something or someone and be given a platform to speak. And for those of you who are sitting in the wings just waiting to attack someone who you don't know and spout so much hatred to someone who has done nothing to harm you is perplexing to me.
So here is my wish for all of you who continue to go after this woman time and time again. I wish that everything negative you have ever written on this site and others on Whitney Houston follow you into the new year like a weight around your neck. And that you never find your way. Tragic and sad, indeed. Maybe the realization that her voice will never cut it has sunk in. I'm guessing she's ultra depressed. What she needs to realize is that she could capitlize on her popularity/LIKEABILITY and do something very successful, outside of her musicality.

The voice is a muscle, and with care, truly staying clean, and dedicated vocal training, she absolutely could get it back at her age. What seems to be missing right now is the genuine will. (as you said, the possible depression.) It might just take her 2 or 3 more years to feel more like herself again after the end of the marriage. Artists are so sensitive; they truly are. Left brain/right brain thing.
Re: @v@ – i wouldnt call her an artist. artists are people who create. she doesnt create. she is not a songwriter nor does she play any instruments or produces. she interprets other peoples songs. that puts her more in the reign of entertainer than artist and now a days shes bearely even an entertainer. also, about the voice, u can damage it beyond repair. stevie nicks damaged her voice beyond repair. fortanately for her she is a songwriter so that puts her in the reign of artist unlike whitney.
