The problem is seldom the guests, its the WRITING !!!!!!!

When r they gonna put this POS show out of its misery??

    3. 3

      Im excited for Sigourney

    4. 4

i can't understand how this show is still on the air. if there is any humor at all, it's in the first few minutes. the next hour and a half are pure crap…week after week..year after year.

    5. 5

Like yours, the writing sucks. And this is OLD. They announced the names TWO WEEKS ago. Keep trying!

    6. 6

Good actors and great musicians cannot compensate for the UNFUNNY writing

    7. 7

who cares about those hosts? really? that is the 'big' lineup? boring.
they need to get adam lambert and lady gaga on.
and I agree. It's the writers who suck, not the guests. I mean the SNL writers lately have really, really, really sucked hard. remember megan fox and the werewolf guy from twilight? damn that was bad.

    8. 8

      I don't even watch SNL

    9. 9

I think you hit it right on the nose when you said "mild laughter" That's exactly what it is - a lukewarm show.

    10. 10

Exactly right - mild laughter. This show is lukewarm at best.

    11. 11

Mild laughter? I don't think anyone except the prompted studio audience has laughed at that show in the last decade.

    12. 12

Charles Barkley? He seems really unfunny! like he plays basketball! Sigourney Weaver, well I don't know about her. Shes was somewhat funny in Holes.

    13. 13

I'm always excited for SNL :) amazing!

    14. 14

Charles Barkley is funny but not even close enough to carry SNL. This show is way past its prime and needs to be put out to pasture

most of the cast/writing is pretty bad right now, but I'll always tivo it. I'm a die-hard since the beginning. You gotta hang in there. SNL always rallies.

    16. 16

ting tings, not a bad guest

    17. 17

      SIGOURNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    18. 18

Love love love Sigourney Weaver but SNL is srsly lacking.

    19. 19

yeah that show BLOWS these days

    20. 20

      Not at all…..
Everyone who's the least little bit funny gets a better gig and leaves.

    21. 21

Hey. the thing about SNL is you never know when it's going to be great. Sometimes it's completely unfunny-other times it's hilarious. There have been some great shows so far this season (Taylor Swift was a v. good one…James Franco was a good one too). I agree with ap076-when it's awful it's the writing. Can certainly be hit or miss, but imho it's worth checking it out each week to find out! Happy New Year!

    22. 22

      no

    23. 23

I'm excited! My favorite show since I was veeeery little– :)

    24. 24

This show is not funny at all anymore.

    25. 25

Its sketch comedy people!! not every sketch is gonna be oscar or spirit award worthy…u guys need to lighten up!!

    26. 26

Where's Robert Pattinson!!!????? He needs to be on this show!

    27. 27

Justin Timberlake and Andy Sandberg shine one the show,

    28. 28

That show is still on the air? um okay whatever you say

    29. 29

That show is still on the air? um okay whatever you say
and sigourney weaver was hot, oh about 30 YEARS AGO>

    30. 30

      I do love Sir Charles.

    31. 31

I've been watching SNL since Gilda, Chevy, and the gang. It goes in waves of being really funny and really lame. Just about everytime I think it's down for the count, it seems to come back. I'm not quite ready to count it out yet.

    32. 32

      YOU DO MEAN…

Are you ready for a new year of NOT funny, don't you??

      Because SNL SUCKS BIG TIME!!!

    33. 33

      sweet!!!!

    34. 34

I'd be excited if they changed the cast! Most of them are horribly un-funny and painful to watch.
