Turns out Lady GaGa is a big fan of Susan Boyle saying that she's her "woman of the year." Gagaloo continues:
"I have watched the clip of her singing on Britain's Got Talent a thousand times and every time I see Simon Cowell's face it makes me laugh out loud. He thinks he knows everything but even he wasn't expecting that.
"She has achieved more in this year than most artists will in a lifetime. This time last year nobody even knew who she was and now she is knocking the world's most established artists off the album and singles charts. Our styles are different. I don't know if we could work together, but never say never. It would be great to work with somebody of that talent."

how anybody says she is pretty in this pic……i wil admit i personally think she's gross but some pics she does look ok at best, i maybe have even seen a decent one or two, however when people to this pic say she is beautiful well that just backs up my belief that they are so wrapped up in the hype and the trend of her/celebrity vs actually liking them for being artist. they would look at her poo and say its art just because its stephanie's. that is until her 15 is up and then all the "i will love her forever" tweens will change their tune to the next big thing. trends gotta love em.
I love SuBo and Gaga, but a collaboration between these two would be disastrous. Their styles are too different, it just wouldn't work. And I doubt SuBo even knows who Gaga is.

A collaboration could work. I remember Janet jackson had opera diva Kathleen Battle

there are 3 types of celebrities in music now a days. the first one (the one i and many others are devoted to and cherish deeply) is the artist/musician. then there is the entertainer and third is the dancer.
1. the artist writes his/her own material (as that is the real def of an artist, one who can express something from inside THEMSELVES to others in a captivating or interesting way.) these here are a dying breed. the reason being is internet downloading killed all record companies profit margins as well as poor corporate practices (gouging your listeners for every penny) so the record companies need to make profit a sure thing and as big and instant as possible. that means art bows down to business strategy. i.e enter popstars full of gimicks marketing and lacking personal imput. i.e no actual singing or writing etc. this way they ensure that popstar is singing what is gonna sell and that its flawless. (autotune)

She keeps pushing boundaries and envelopes and has opened the door for women in pop music. Long will be her reign.
the second is entertainers these are music people with some talent or skill but dont create anything new. not a fan of but at least they offer some personal touch i.e dance plus sing or just sing well etc. christina, kelly, celine dion, pink etc. to each his own music should entertain too i just perfer the art side more.
the last is the dancer. this is the bottom of the barrel in my opinion. these are the most manufactured celebs who usually are people who just want money and fame (for the attention and narcissitic gains) and dont care how they get it. they generally have no talent and tend to be nasty people who only care about themselves. they are marketed to the t lie to fans to get them to like them and are gimmicked to the t as well. they rarely sing in studio without the computer taking over their voice and usually dont sing live. or at best sing along with a recorded track live. in otherwords they are alll smoke and mirros no talent or substance. once their time is up they are thrown away by fans and record execs alike….then go on a reality show…
these are people like gaga, britney the veronicas, beyonuce some, miley. they dont care about you just your money. half of them dont even like music just the cash. which is fine but i am a music fan and its dis heartening to see someone exploit that

I like Gaga, but please, she is not the Queen of Pop. No one will ever beat Madonna like that. She was the one who inspired all these girls. She is starting to be like Madonna in the way she is controlling her career, but please, Madonna paved the way and no one above 20 or 30 can deny that even if they do not like Madonna. She will always be the Queen of Pop and Michael will always be the King.

music follows patterns in the trendy vs art bad vs good and we are ready for a musical revolution thank God!!! (great for the entertainment fan and tweenies who buy into whatever the 50 yr old record execs tell them to like)
60's rock and roll then it became the arena spectacle which was by the late 60's early 70's exploited until dico became popular in the later seventies. as a rebellion against disco (seen as fluff music and generally as a joke) came new wave and punk. (late 70's early 80's) after the freshness wore off then came the imitators. money was made so than greed took over and the record execs wanted more money and started to market heavily and with all the gimicks killing the substance. enter 80's hair bands. late 80's early 90's. like disco the 70's version of gimmicky money making music, there were some gems in there bee gees early guns/crue/priest/van halen etc. the money drew in the fakes making again like disco hair metal a joke. enter new rebellion grunge. like punk/new wave the effect of crappy hair metal/disco cause a quick rise in pop of grunge which like punk led to many impitators beingg sent in by companies to once again milk the customers for money riding on a manufactured trend. so grunge dies quick and then starts rap metal and boy bands like the past the end of a decade has the most gimicky musicas company strategies have worn thin by then,
both generally like hair metal and disco became somewhat of a joke and fell off the money making map. then like punk and grunge the begining of a decade brought new fresh music. sort of. that slowly got twisted throughout the decade to pop crap music kelly c , chritina, britney shakira justin t etc, and now dance club music is the diso/hair metal/ rap metal of 2000's its huge now but do to its lack of substance and/or talent level will die out fast and hard within a year or two.

He is a money-making machine, with excellent instincts about entertainers with star-potential.
The entire Susan Boyle "discovery" was carefully planned and presented by Simon's team.
So, on that point GaGa, I disagree with you. Simon knew everything BEFORE Susan stepped on stage.

Gaga is all about taking things to the next level that noone thought she would ever do! Imagine Gaga and Subo doing a beautiful duet! Gaga has a killer voice and is beautiful and I think it could be a huge hit!!!

THEY BOTH represent outcasts on opposite ends of the same spectrum. I am SO glad the topped everything this year. Both are refreshing and we really needed them—both talented and out of the norm. The music industry had gotten SO stagnant and boring and full of clones. I hope these two great ladies set a new precedent.
I don't know about the rest of you, either though I kind of enjoy GaGa's music, I think she is way overrated. GaGa belongs in theatre, more so than in a studio.
Gaga SHOULD respect Subo..Subo actually relies on her talent as a singer. Without the theatrics, gaga would be a nobody.
SuBo will be the artist of the new decade .. sorry Gaga!

Lady GaGa just showed that she is truly a lady of class! THANK YOU for recognizing Susan as the artist she is… it takes ALL types of artists to make the music world what it is and I am SO TIRED of all these little "20 somethings" making fun of such a talented lady because she doesn't fit the sterotypical mold or age. Lady GaGa, you just made a fan for life from THIS 50 year old woman who plans to take her singing career to the next level in 2010!
Gaga will use and exploit anyone or anything if it will gain her fame. She is really bad news.
I am not a huge fan of Gaga, but she never has a bad word to say about other artists and people. She seems very sweet and genuine.

I hate Susan Boyle. She annoys the shit out of me. Yes, she can sing but she's an ugly and arrogant attentionwhore. Paul Potts, now that was a nice guy… but Boyle… I hope we all forget about her really soon!
