On Wednesday, the soap aired the first gay male sex scene shown on screen in daytime ever!

      What they don't show is once Fish falls asleep Kyle gathering up his stuff and sneaking out.
      Just kidding, not a soaps fan myself, but for those who enjoy them this must have been a treat.
      If you watch the show and these are favorite characters of yours then maybe seeing them in this light may make their orientation more acceptable to you.

      As a soap opera fan for 45 years, I can now claim to have seen it all. By no means am I a "prude", but it was a bit much for my taste, so I just turned it off. I've got to give the writers big props for going there.

      I'm gay so I'm all for the positive representation on television, but this scene was SO cheesy. The candles, the way they took off each other's shirts, the music; cheesy, cheesy, cheesy. But again, I am glad they are representing the LGBT community on Daytime television. Maybe I'm just too jaded to think this is a good sex scene.

      Actually there are three gay male characters on OLTL & two of them are gay on & off screen. The taller lighter haired guy in this scene is gay in his personal life as well. The other character on the show is named Nick - also gay in the real world. OLTL has been very open to the gay & lesbian community for as long as I can remember. Look at Ryan Phillipes resume & the character he played on OLTL - Billy. Yes one of the guys in this scene is straight in real life, but in his "reel" life he plays one hot gay dude.
