Maniston Hates The Paparazzi

That's why she was the driving force behind the new California state law that will allow celebs to file civil suits against photogs!
After spending much of her career followed by flashing bulbs, Jennifer Aniston decided to take a stand and became "instrumental" in having Assembly Bill 524 passed.
Aniston rounded up a group of her famous friends to speak with Assembly Speaker Karen Bass, and their unity against the problem inspired her to write the bill.
Specifically, the law allows "for civil penalties against members of the paparazzi and media outlets that sell and buy unlawfully obtained photographs and video footage of people, including celebrities and their families." The law goes into effect tomorrow.
Lawyer up photogs! We know you won't be giving up that easily!

Please. No one would care about Maniston if it weren't for her face constantly being in the tabloids. It's hard to muster any pity for celebrtities who complain about being photographed. It's what they want…all the adulation and attention…be careful what you wish for, I guess!
(Normal-loud voice:) Good work Jennifer.
(Whispers:) The poor thing is never going to have a good picture of her taken at an premier or any event again.
Much like 2009, Jenass belongs to the past. By 2011 Jenass will be running around nude in hopes of being noticed by anybody.
Good for her! Just because you make movies or are on TV, how does that mean you lose your nright to privacy? A Plumber deals with the public. Should his life be intruded on? Everyone, regardless of their profession has the right to privacy and the freedom to pursue happiness and be free of harrassment. I hope this opens the door to other laws and this stupid industry of staring at celebrities and commenting on their lives, goes away.
The law is a well-intentioned joke. They will never be able to enforce it. Does anyone really think People magazine, US weekly etc. will go down without a fight? They'll yell "First Amendment!" and win. If Jen and her friends really wanted to do something they could have asked for tough laws against harrassment and stalking of the minor children of celebrities and they could have insisted on paparrazzi-free zones, in residential neighborhoods, around schools, playgrounds, and private property like shopping malls, restaurants, etc.You will never succeed in eliminating them, but you can restrict and control their access. This is not going to work.
Stop calling her Maniston. She's very pretty unlike your anorexic, looking like a witch Angelina with her big guppy lips. They need to pass a law. It's out of hand. THey have no respect and will stop at nothing. Princess Diana remember??
can you really blame her?
These overpaid celebs get mad at paparazzi but they would be NOTHING without them. She is a crappy actress anyway like Jolie, NO Natalie Portman.
Ehhhh deal with it Jen. You asked for it, now eat up.
Look at that mess,no wonder she can,t get a keep man.She must be a real
bee ach.Can,t stand HER,America,s sweet heart ( HARDLY )
only way to curve the Paps is to have one get killed for what he or she are doing…a law must be made to get the paps…a must have a license
STFU POSER…
Good for her. I would hate it if my privacy was invaded on a daily basis.
Good for her.
I think Clooney tried this last time and it back-fired on him. please let the photog's do what they do best. NOW when it comes to children, that should be stopped !! there sicko's out there MARIO included… Pedophile!!
She looks like a hot mess in that photo.
But her hair looks great! (:
People like Jennifer know the extent to which the paps will go to get that big picture that will make them rich.
Good for her ..
We'll see if the new law has any effect on protecting privacy .. probably not
About time! Those photogs go way too far. actors and singers and the likes became what they are because they love it ad it is a career, not to have every single bit of their lives in the public eye. They deserve some bit of privacy!
For people saying "she asked for this". She did not ask for her life to never be private again. She did not ask for them to take topless photos of her while she was sunbathing in her own yard. She's an actress, not under investigation 24/7.
I agree they definitely should license the paparazzi. And make rules for them. If they break the rules they have to pay HUGE fines and lose their license. The licenses should be really expensive and they would have to renew them every year like the license tabs on a car. I would charge SO much money the state would get out of bankruptcy. They also need to enforce the traffic laws. Because those fools chase people and swarm people and they are hazzardous and cause accidents.
Why don't the assholes stop calling them when the want certain pictures to leak out. They can't have it both ways.
Re: SexyScorpio..NY – Agreed!
Jennifer will be more feminine than Angelina ever could.
IT'S ABOUT FRICKEN TIME
Like what self respecting individual doesn't hate them?
i love her. she's so cool, pretty. but she has it all. she has the life everyone wants…fortunately that comes with a price. celebs annoy the crap out of me that whine about paparazzi following them around all day.
LOVE her!!!!
hey, to all the actors and singers out there…if you don't want to be famous and have paps follow you, change your career. it comes with the turf, if you're LUCKY.
Does anyone even care about this dumb, angry, bitch anymore?
the thing about this new law is that it doesn't protect celebs from privacy. it just says they can't take, for example, photos of celebs in their backyards and sell it to a magazine. it doesnt say anything about following them around constantly. so, its bullshit. jen is just complaining; she wants her cake and wants to eat it too. she doesn't want them to stop following her, she's just trying to control what gets out. GO EAT A DICK JEN and try to actually keep a man, you desperate whore!
Hope she just fades into obscurity.
What is her claim to fame other than "friends" ??
having been married to brad pitt, so famous by association.
All her films have been c—
Thank God! I love that our country has freedom but the press have been seriously stepping over so many lines and really need to be curtailed. It shouldn't have to be law for people to have common decency but I guess it's necessary.
Re: lemonbird – i have no idea what the first amendment is but it sounds pretty shitty. A reasonable law is made by a government which can then not be implemented because of a suckhole constitution. A great constitution that accepts 70,000 homeless people living under california freeways?
She looks like a complete ass in that outfit. Uh, jen - you're not 16.
So you can't take pics of celebs anymore? Damn I wanna get the shot where Jack is pickin his nose or cher just being Cher or brad lookin goofy,or snap a photo of kirsty sayin " bitch you haven los any weight yet!" a quick photog of Adam makin out with some mystry guy, the beautiful anjelina,to the queen Madonna Boy it's gonna be boring and I'm gonna starve to death thanks Jennifer crackiston!
Good for her. And it is about time!
WOOO - HOOOOO!
Paparazzi are akin to sewer dwellers, garbage rats, street beggars.
She should be estatic ANY pap wants a pic of her ugly-azz mug. Actually SHE should pay THEM…….LOL.
Re: JayRock – At least Angelina cares about people and goes out of her way to help them. Jen, while I admire her for helping St. Jude's, really doesn't do anything other than that (as far as I know) to help others. I agree about the paparazzi, there should be stricter laws but how are the laws going to be enforced? There are BIGGER issues than poor celebrities who get tired of being followed by paparazzi. I mean COME ON PEOPLE! Get a grip.
GOODJOB JENNIFER
Okay people….let's look at this again.
* Specifically, the law allows "for civil penalties against members of the paparazzi and media outlets that sell and buy unlawfully obtained photographs and video footage of people, including celebrities and their families."
Keyword being "unlawfully". In case you haven't noticed, not only are celebs victims of these lunatics, but regular people like us, have been injured or harrassed when the paps try to pursue pictures/video. She may not completely stop them, but at least she is taking a big step into getting something done. She may have to deal with them, but I don't think others should have too. Paps are crazy. They don't care about hurting anyone else in the pursuit, as long as they get their shot.
Re: jillbeans – Natalie Portman did only ONE good film, when she was about 12 or 13 years old-LEON. Since then everyone has been waiting for her next good film.
She is an ugly man!
The law needs need to begin with Maniston who is foreve blogging hateful comments about Angelina and her family. Maniston only wants media when it suits her and when she's all airbrushed and not look like goodwill recipient. Maniston we put you out there and we are definitely are taking you out for good. Maniston can sell her fake smart water and lie to people about it.
Why does Perez hate Jennifer Aniston so much?
Re: Luv My White Cotton Panties – "let the photogs do what they do best"?? what's that–invade people's privacy? just because someone wants to be an actress doesn't mean she wants her entire life followed by losers who don't have lives of their own. (i appreciate the irony here. i realize that i'm on a celebrity gossip website, but i followed a link, and it brought me here…) the paparazzi make their money by taking embarrassing pictures of celebrities. if that doesn't make you sick, then you're just as bad as they are.
