Elizabeth Edwards' much-hyped new memoir, Resilience, hits bookstore shelves on May 12th, and the wife of the cheating presidential hopeful John Edwards didn't stifle her feelings when discussing her husband's affair!

Juicy!

The terminally ill Edwards - battling cancer - describes the moment her husband told her of his infidelities in detail, "I cried and screamed, I went to the bathroom and threw up."

Poor Elizabeth!

Even though she never mentions her husband's mistress,Rielle Hunter's name, once in the book, she illustrates Hunter as "pathetic," and a "parasitic groupie who invaded the Edwardses' life."

John had informed Elizabeth of his affair with his illegitimate babymomma in 2006, and Elizabeth even urged her husband to drop out of the presidential race before he found himself in the middle of a public cheating scandal!

How right was she?!

The most shocking decision Elizabeth has made throughout this ordeal, to us at least, is to remain by her husband's side! "I lie in bed, circles under my eyes, my sparse hair sticking in too many directions, and he looks at me as if I am the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. It matters," writes Edwards on the topic of her forgiveness.

Having the ability to forgive is an admirable quality!

Nice to see that even though they're split up, Drew Barrymore and Justin Long can still hang out and be affectionate toward each other as "just friends."

This has been such an AMAZING week!

Thursday morning, the Maine Senate passed a marriage equality bill, granting same-sex couples the same rights, privileges and protections that heterosexuals in the state have.

The bill now moves to the House of Representatives for consideration next week.

On Wednesday, the New Hampshire senate also legalized same-sex marriage. Their House already passed it as and the bill is now in the hands of the NH Governor, who has not said whether he will sign, veto or not sign.

Also yesterday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Act, which extends federally protected categories to include sexual orientation and gender identity.

And, this week as a well, new polls show that right now, Americans as a whole are favoring gay marriage by 42%, that's 9% more than just a month ago. An additional 25% are in favor of civil unions.

Lindsay Lohan has been spending some vacation time in Hawaii with her little older sister, Ali Lohan, and some friends.

The group has been spotted out shopping and sight-seeing throughout the island.

And, just yesterday, Lindsanity and Aliana decided to try and surf a bit. Forget the bodysuits, the girls took at it in their sexy bathing suits. The better to see all of La Loca's bones!

Somehow the two managed to keep their tops on despite several falls off their surfboards.

After some surfing, they headed over to the downtown area to do, what else, some more shopping.

Wonder why mom Dina wasn't invited on the trip.

Jade Goody's widowed husband, Jack Tweed, had a little run-in with former '80s pop musician Boy George in the jailhouse showers.

And not just one run-in, but a couple, all of which involved nudity and caused the jailbird to flee.

A source said, "Jack isn’t exactly the most comfortable person when it comes to getting attention from other men. As soon as he saw Boy George was standing there naked having a wash he was gobsmacked…. He grew up listening to George’s records but never imagined the first time he met him he would be stark naked in a prison shower."

Sometimes funny things happen in jail!

Both douches are in prison for being not so nice and violent to other fellas.
