On the heels of Tyra Banks's announcement that The Tyra Show is ending after 5 seasons, all the juicy behind the scenes deets are beginning to leak.
And not surprisingly, working for the model was difficult!
According to a former crew member "There had been high turnover of employees for years. She and the higher-ups on the production staff could be extremely brutal. She really is a diva."
Tyra Banks, a diva??? Get out!
An industry source says everything had to be done her way.
Well, to her credit, it is The Tyra Show. And whatever she demanded her employees to do couldn't have been completely wrong considering she won two Daytime Emmy awards.
But while she may have been the boss-bitch on set, her communication skills off-set are worse because there's rumors going around that TyTy told the press about the show ending before she told the staff!
Ouch!
And it wasn't the first time she pulled something like this. The source revealed:
"When the show moved from L.A. to New York, several staffers weren't even directly told about the change - they heard through the grapevine that it was going to move locations. Even so, a lot of those people gave up their lives on the West Coast so they could continue working for the show. Now they're out of luck."
Yikes!
If this is what she does on the small screen could you imagine how she'd act while overseeing a movie!?

Her behavior is very disappointing considering the fact that she always mentions how Naomi Campbell was a bitch to her, and made her life a living hell when she first started modeling. Now she continuing that behavior by treating her co-workers/employees like shit. Makes you wonder if she was lieing about Naomi because she obviously didn't learn from that experience.

I cannot stand 'Kiss my big fat ass" Tyra Banks! It all started when she was interviewed on Nightline. When Cynthia Mcfadden asked her about her "Diva behavior" on that model show she does. What a rude, snide b***h! And then after 'crying' about the tabloids seeing her in her B.suit, and then losing 30 pounds?? What a role model. LOL
She works at trying to come across as a sweet, simple and down to earth girl. Yet, to achieve her level of success, one has to be as tough as nails. The perks along the way can spoil you to the core of your Soul. Look at what she did to Nicole Ritchie on the show when she compared their shopping habits AND OF COURSE, Tyra shops at the dollar store!LOL Nicole, of course, showed her excess and indulgence b/c she's rich and she can and was completely honest about who she is. Hmmm, who is the better human being????? I like Tyra up to a certain point but facades grow old and boring and the Truth ALWAYS comes out. The Real is the ONLY way to go because those that follow it are the winners. Nicole sure does look happy now, doesn't she:)! and Tyra keeps blah blahing along hahaha.

No big surprise there. Tyra is so superficial and sooo full of herself. I can't stand watching her show as everything is about her. I have never been a huge fan of Tyra.. I've watched her show on and off over the past five years & although she had some terrific shows, you could definitely tell through the rest that she was more self-absorbed than she truly cared about her guests and her fans. I'm glad this will open up a spot for someone ELSE.

While I have zero doubt that she is a diva and very difficult to work for, she just looks like she'd be a bitch, however, if she was as bad as this claims why then did some of them want to follow her and her show to NYC? Why "give up their lives on the West Coast" for someone who treated them poorly? They could have applied for jobs on other sitcoms/shows in L.A..
Well, that employee west to east coast move thing was badly done; but ratings are out of their hands. Normally I'd say that when a man is in charge, he's called assertive, and when a woman is in charge, she's called a b*tch; but in Tyra's case, I could really see the diva thing having merit. Watching her on America's Next Top Model was more than enough for me. She tries tho, and I like that. Diplomacy is not her strong suit.

It just cracks me up how people believe things that they are told by rumor mongers are true. "She looks like a bitch, so she must be a bitch," was the best.
