MJ's Dad Wants His Medical Records

And the estate lawyers are PISSED!

Michael Jackson's dad, Joe Jackson, has subpoenaed medical records from the UCLA Medical Center because he seems to think they hold other information about his son's death, including possible foul play.

Joe and his lawyers are asking for medical records, autopsy reports, autopsy photos, medications and prognosis assessments.

The patriarch of the Jackson family says that the entire family is behind his decision and they all believe the information is vital to exposing foul play in Michael's death.

MJ's estate lawyer Howard Weitzman is claiming the the subpoenas for the documents violate the late King of Pop's rights of privacy and doctor-patient confidentiality.

We're not sure what to think, but with Joe Jackson involved, who knows what the real motive could be.

I have a strong feeling that if Joe gets Michael's medical records that they'll "accidentally" get leaked to the 'highest bidder'…I, I mean 'online.'

  2. 2

He will turn around and sell it page by page. Starting a flow chart on who (J-5 kingpin) sues over this, to keep that cash flowing

    SHADY SHADY SHADY SHADY SHADY

With that said, I am seriously tired of hearing about MJ. Please, let the truth COME out so that we can all close MJ's file and move on. Let MJ (and us) rest in peace.

I can understand the family's frustration with there having been no charges or arrest of Dr. Murry. Are they just trying to build an airtight case before they pounce on him and arrest him? It is very confusing.
But the charge is not, negligent homicide for the administration of the anesthetic in a home environment and then failing to properly monitor the patient.

Oh dear. Here we go again. Joe Jackson is such a creep, it really is worrying with those poor children involved. Darling Michael, rest in peace.

For once this is not about money, JJ knows that his son was murdered by the Illuminati.. MJ wanted to expose them. He tried to do it b4 (see albumcover of Blood On The Dancefloor and listen to HIStory album lyrics) but they accused him. In the end when he wanted to make that comeback, they murdered him.

is so sad.Its to late now, they know why this happened.Let the man rest in piece.

I have to admit when I heard Joe Jackson was behind this the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Then I read autopsy photos and thought "leak to the tabloids", but surely he is incapable of that.
In a general way I am sure Joe speaks for the entire family's frustration but at the same time there are different "camps" in the family and it is my understanding that Randy and Joe are their own "camp".

Too slow!! This was on another website about 3 days ago!!

  10. 10

He's going to have one hell of a time trying to obtain them because in California, that violates HIPAA law! (which means no one can have access to them without proper consent & obviously that wont happen!) Is there anything else this money-hungry a$$hole wants?! Seriously Joe, GET A JOB!!

Does doctor/patient confidentiality exist for immediate family once you've passed on? Family may and possibly should have a right to know if they are the patient' only remaining advocates. If something happened to you under shaky circumstances, wouldn't you want your family to dig out all the facts if you passed?

MJ's dad should just STFU and retire already!! Let Michael RIP with the last decade!! Let's ALL move on now!! :)

Re: @v@ – I see your point and that could very well be the case but U also have to remember that this is greedy Joe Jackson we're talking about. Whatever reason there is to get MJ's records, there's probably a motive for Joe to make money off of it. (i.e. wrongful death suit against the doctor…potentially other money making schemes for him). Any other family member asking for them wouldn't seem as suspicious. Joe was left out of MJ's will for a purpose. If anyone should be trusted with this it should be Katherine Jackson. It was apparent when MJ left her his money and kids.

  14. 14

Wow, I read this like three days ago….you're alittle late!! People are saying he has no reason to ask for the papers because all he's asked for legally is an allowance but if they're saying that they might not be able to convict Dr. Murray than he's probally trying to see if he can find anything that would conclude that the "doctor" is guilty!!

  15. 15

Is anybody else tired of Joe and others wanting to blame others for Michaels' death? Let's face it, he was a DRUG ADDICT. Not just your garden variety drug addict either. Having a medical doctor to administer anesthesia on a regular basis is just plain STUPID. Let's also not forget, the it was Michael himself that chose Dr. Murray, entrusting his life to him… In the end, MJ was talented, tormented and a drug addict who was ridiculously irresponsible and careless with his own life. RIP

Having said that, Joe is scum and thi$ is all about putting money in Joe'$ pocket$

Re: pinkchik03 – First it's about justice if anything untoward has occurred. Secondly, I feel a little differently, and doubt Michael would care now if his Dad went after any wrongdoing and won a judgement rightfully. People forget that Michael was very much his son, too, and that Jackson Sr. was very instrumental in landing all of the Jacksons their fame and fortune. Back then, almost ALL of the parents were spare the rod, spoil the child strict with almost no exceptions. Michael didn't honor thy(his) father by demonizing the one guy who helped put him on the map, but I guess he felt he had his reasons.

  17. 17

New year…new decade…new plan! T me this week so we can talk.

  18. 18

Re: speidismells – No, because if you have been a fan of MJ, then u would know what he had to endure. Many vultures and creeps in his life. Nobody knows what happened to MJ, he died under VERY suspicisous conditions. It is a HOMICIDE investigation, dont forget that people. Im not saying that Im for this decision that Joe is doing.. but when someone calls him a drug addict? Huh! What are you absing your stuff on? The autopsy showed him clean.. he did NOT have all the drugs and pills in his body like the media reported.. the "only" thing were Propofol. He used that to sleep- that MUST give anyone a hint on what he endured. Just try to understand.

Re: 6one9 – Move on? What your reaction would be if your child were murdered and after 6 months there were no indictments?
Joe is probably trying to send a message that his son was murdered and nothing has been done so far. WE ARE NOT FORGETTING Michael Jackson's murder and we want justice for him.

  22. 22

    Yea ok…

Can you please stop posting about michael jackson, it is fucking annoying as hell, I can't stand hearing about ANYTHING to do with him anymore because its EVERY FUCKING DAY something new with him, let him rest in fucking peace already

  24. 24

… I thought they had already deemed Michael's death a homocide - and we KNOW who the suspect is (his doctor) - how much more proof does this sperm donor need? (and if 'sperm donor Joe' has money for big time attorneys to file court action for documents, why can't he pay his Vegas apartment rent?). BTW - Joe doesn't speak for that family - he hasn't been a member of that family for decades - off with his mistress and his new baby (i.e. future performing meal ticket…).

  25. 25

WHO CARES…. JOE JACKSON IS SO LAME…
    .
    .
HE SO OLD I DNT THINK HE EVEN KNO WHAT
    .
    .
HE BE DOIN AND SAYIN MOST OF THE TIME!!!

  26. 26

honestly, i'm so pissed at this. I think it was an inside job ordered by his father to rake in mad cash. We all saw the video after he died, Joe Jackson didn't give a shit he was jsut plugging in his new record label!!!! This is so fucked up. There is just too much secret bullshit that the public will never know about.

  27. 27

I believe Joe Jackson loved his son….The lawyer Howard Weitzman who I am sure is getting paid for his services…Well, I think the family should have a say in what goes on!

  28. 28

Howard W. is a dumb-ass what rights he is deseased? It is not a violation of privacy anymore. I don't know what Joe Jackson is looking for but I think he will find there was no foul play or that everything was disclosed. He is grasping at straws here. He needs to except that Michael did this to himself through the years and that he is gone and let him rest in piece.

Re: rudy96 – If that's the concensus after everything has been looked at through a microscope, then the family can feel some peace. I can't figure out why those kids haven't set both their parents up financially years ago with all of the millions they've raked in. Even a trust that paid monthly stipend to each parent that would revert back to the offspring that set up the trust after the parent was deceased is the minimum they should have done, with all of the millions floating around all those years. Michael could blow a million in one store in 45 minutes, and his own father is left scrambling at his age? There's no excuse for it, imho.
